  Turtle Soft, too soft!

  

  Wanting to get back to basics, I put this on my backhand.
  It's so soft that it feels like the ball is hitting the wood directly.

  It's barely affected by the opponent's spin at all, so
  it might be worth considering as a dedicated receive rubber.

  It's an old rubber, but
  in modern table tennis, I felt like high-bounce rubbers such as Mark V
  might open up new possibilities, almost like an unorthodox rubber.

  初心に戻ろうと思い、バック面に使用。
  柔らかすぎて、板に直接当たった感じがします。

  回転の影響は全くというほど受けないので、
  レシーブ専用ラバーとして候補に入れるのはアリかもしれません。

  古いラバーですが、
  現代卓球において、マークVなどの高弾性ラバーは
  異質ラバーのような新しい可能性を見出せるのかな
  と感じました。

  equipment refugees (Experience: ２〜３ years) Next-level ease of use

  

  I put the thin version on my Gouriki forehand.

  Since both the blade and rubber are low-bounce, of course it doesn't have much speed, but it's plenty if you focus on defense and play close to the table.

  What surprised me is how easy it is to use and how good the control is. It really feels like you're picking the ball up with your hand and placing it on the opponent's side of the table.
  I think the balance between bounce and spin is good, because even when you make contact a bit too thick, it still gets a moderate amount of topspin and lands like it's sticking to the opponent's court.

  Obviously it's recommended as a first rubber for beginners, but honestly, as long as you're winning with it, isn't it enough to just keep using it?
  Even against big swings from tension rubber users, you can block easily, so you won't lose easily.

  剛力のフォアに薄を貼りました。

  跳ばない同士の組み合わせですので、当然弾みませんが、守備力重視で前陣で戦う分には十分です。

  驚くのは、その使いやすさとコントロール性能です。本当に、「ボールを手で持って、相手コートに置いてくる」というような感覚です。
  弾みと回転量のバランスがいいのだと思いますが、厚く当たりすぎたときでも、適度なドライブ回転がかかって、相手コートに吸い付くように入ります。

  初心者の一枚目にお勧めなのは当然なんですが、勝ててるうちは、ずっとこれでも十分なのでは？
  テンションの大振りを相手にしても、簡単にブロックできるんで、容易には負けませんよ。

  Makua (Experience: ２〜３ years) Better than the Sriver

  

  Back then, I was using Butterfly's TB7 (a 7-ply wooden blade). At first I used it on my backhand, but later switched it to my forehand.
  My impression from using it on the forehand was "the grabbing feel is amazing!!" While the speed is a bit behind the Sriver series,
  the spin and control are better than the Sriver series. Personally, I thought it was better than Sriver.
  I also thought it would be a good recommendation for beginners who haven't quite built up their fundamentals yet.

  The one thing that bugs me a little, though, is the rubber's lifespan. Since it's a high-bounce rubber, it lasts longer than a tension rubber,
  but it does wear out faster than Mark V. Still, I personally used it for 4 to 5 months.

  One more thing - when I tried it on a Kenta Matsudaira ALC, my impression was that the grabbing feel had faded a little.
  Even so, it really was only "a little," so it didn't bother me.
  This is genuinely a rubber I'd recommend for beginners!

  当時、バタフライのTB7(木製７枚合板)で使ってました。最初はバックに使っていましたが、途中でフォアに。
  フォアで使ってみた感想は「つかむ感覚がスゴイ！！」です。スレイバー系よりスピードは劣るものの、
  スピン、コントロールはスレイバー系より上です。自分的にはスレイバーより良いと思いました。
  まだ基礎がしっかりしていない初心者にもおすすめだと思いました。

  ただ、少し気になるのは「ラバーの寿命」です。高弾性なのでテンションよりはもつのですが、
  マークVよりは消耗が・・・って感じです。でも自分は4~5か月使っていました。

  もうひとつ、松平健太ALCで使ってみての感想は、少しつかむ感覚がなくなったな・・・って印象です。
  それでも本当に「少し」なので自分は気になりませんでした。
  本当に初心者にはおすすめのラバーです！

  Shogun (Experience: １１〜２０ years) Light!

  

  Since the sheet is Mark V-based, the grip on the ball isn't bad. It's not suited for a topspin drive player who swings hard on both sides, but I think it would be a good rubber for an all-rounder, a close-to-the-table unorthodox-style player, or a beginner-level inverted-rubber chopper.

  シートがマークVなのでグリップ力は悪くはないです。両面をブンブン振るドライブマンには不向きですが、オールラウンダーや前陣異質型、初級者裏カットマンには良いラバーになると思います。

  TableTennis.Bee (Experience: Less than a year) Easy to control. But the speed is...

  

  The control is really good, but the speed isn't all that high...
  The spin depends on your own skill, but for me it didn't grip the ball much.
  Against long pips it's only a bit more stable, so you might struggle.
  Control is good and blocking is easy, so I'd recommend it for the backhand side.
  I don't think it's very well suited for the forehand at all.

  コントロールはとても良いが、スピードはあまり出ないかな…
  回転は人の技術にもよるけど自分はあまり掛からなかった。
  対粒高だと少し安定するぐらいで、苦戦するかもしれない。
  コントロール性は良いしブロックもしやすいのでバック面がおすすめ
  フォア面にはかなり向いていないと思う

  Miyanafu (Experience: ６〜１０ years)

  

  It's very soft. Since it doesn't fly much, the speed isn't that high either. Still, even a light hit produces a decent amount of speed, so it's not bad. The sheet itself is Mark V-based, so it has a reasonable amount of spin. Since it's not much affected by the opponent's spin, you can go on the attack yourself without hesitation.
  I'd recommend it to people who like soft rubbers, or people who struggle with their receive and backhand.

  とても柔らかいです。飛ばないためスピードもそこまでです。ただ軽打でも一定の測度は出るため悪くは無いです。シート自体はマークVのため回転量はそこそこあります。相手の回転の影響を受けないため、思い切って自分から攻撃をすることが出来ます。
  柔らかいラバーが好きな人、レシーブとバックが苦手な人にオススメです。

  Pen front man (Experience: ２〜３ years) Spin and control both excellent

  

  It's quite soft.
  Much softer than Mark V.
  I thought it would be harder to control in the short game than Mark V, but since it doesn't bounce that much to begin with, the control is good.
  As for the spin feel, out of everything I've used, Rakza 7 Soft is closer to it than Mark V is.
  Or rather, the feel on contact is similar.
  Of course it falls short of Rakza 7 Soft in both bounce and spin, but in exchange it's also less sensitive to the opponent's spin, so it's a trade-off either way.
  If Rakza 7 Soft is a 10, I'd put this at about a 7 for bounce and an 8 for spin. (The sheet's grip on the ball felt stronger on Rakza 7.)
  The spin amount on light hits comes much closer to matching it though.
  If you use it with a blade that has good bounce, you can attack with stability.
  Some people might find it a bit lacking in practice, but in actual matches it's a rubber that really helps you out.
  There's the number of times a tension rubber's speed and high spin save you, versus the number of times a rubber like this saves you through stability in the short game and on hard hits.
  I think it's worth comparing the two and picking whichever helps you win more.
  Back when I was a student 15 years ago, in the glue era, there were already people who went non-glue, and I was winning at the prefectural tournament level with it.

  かなり柔らかいです。
  マークⅤよりかなり柔らかくなっています。
  台上はマークⅤより暴れるかと思いましたが、そもそもそんなに跳ねないのでコントロールが良いです。
  回転の感覚は私が使った中ではマークⅤよりラクザ7ソフトの方が近いです。
  というより打感が似ています。
  もちろん弾みも回転も及びませんが、その分相手の回転にも鈍感ですので一長一短です。
  ラクザ7ソフトを10とすれば弾みが7、回転が8といったところです。(シートの引っ掛かりがラクザ7の方があるように感じました)
  軽打時の回転量はより肉薄します。
  弾みの良いラケットで使えば安定した攻撃ができます。
  練習では物足りなさを感じる人もいるかと思いますが、実際の試合ではかなり助けてくれるラバーです。
  テンションラバーの高速や高回転に助けられる回数と、こういったラバーの台上や強打時の安定性に助けられる回数。
  比較してみてより勝てる方を選択するのも良いかと思います。
  私が学生だった15年前のグルー時代からノングルー派はいましたし、県大会クラスでしたが勝ててました。
