The all new Mark V 30 the speed glue version with a softer 30 sponge.
We managed to double speed glue absorption and improve spring capacity. Improved spin by maintaining the sponge hardness levels at 30 degrees. The excellent balance between speed and spin promises new excitement for the table tennis game!

I switched from Mark V to Mark V 30°.
In my personal opinion, it's very easy to control and generates a decent amount of spin.
But the downside is that it's hard to get speed out of it.
Still, overall I really found it to be a very easy-to-use rubber.

It's a soft rubber, so your play stays stable, and since it's easy to put spin on,
it's also good for learning and solidifying technique.

I use this on the reverse side of my Chinese penhold.
The front side is Spectol, for a typical close-to-the-table fast-attack style.After switching to this rubber, I realized that a high-elasticity rubber that makes the short game reasonably easy suits me better than the trendy tension rubbers.
It's a quick-release type that brings out the short pips my blade is mainly built around, so I chose the softer 30° sponge, and that turned out to be exactly right too — sharp, short-game chiquitas now arc in right at the edge of the net.
Chiquita and backhand topspin drives that I used to fail at a lot now suddenly go in, and they've become a real weapon for scoring points.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I guess you could say it's like Mark V updated to work in the modern game. Of course it's not really suited to today's tension-rubber-dominated era, and compared to tacky rubber the spin is basically nonexistent lol. But it's all about control! Even if you get your angle wrong or misread your opponent's spin, it still seems to get the ball into their court somewhat regardless of spin. Might be good as a beginner's first rubber, or as a rubber intermediate players use to actually win matches!

The softness of the sponge is unreal.
I have my daughter using it on her backhand, and even if she gets the angle slightly wrong the ball still tends to go in, which has become one of the reasons she's started winning matches (lol)
That said, now that high-tension rubbers are all the rage, it's not really suited for advanced players.All Speed Spin Control
