Poseidon (Experience: Less than a year) Great for beginners

It's very easy to use if you're a beginner, but once you move past that stage, it feels quite lacking.

Being cheap is good for beginners just starting out, but once you get into drives or the short game, you'll definitely need to upgrade.
I don't think you can win with this one.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Rallys believers (Experience: Less than a year) A rubber suited for beginners

This is suited for beginners. Back when I bought it I didn't really understand blades yet, so I ended up with a carbon blade. This was also my first rubber. I used it on my forehand, and even trying my friends' rubbers now, this one feels quite soft. The spin is about so-so. Same with the speed.
I can drive reasonably well with it. Serves have decent bite too. I think it's one of the best choices for beginners. It lasts a very long time, but I switched because I started wanting more.
It's also cheap, so I highly recommend it as a first rubber. That said, like others have said, once you move past beginner level it probably starts to feel pretty lacking. Sorry for the long review. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Heka (Experience: 4〜5 years) Perfect as your first rubber

This was my first rubber. As long as you can watch the ball, hit it, and send it back properly, you won't have any trouble. It even puts a bit of spin on the ball. Once you get somewhat comfortable with driving, I think it's fine to move on to something like GTT or Mark V. That said, don't expect a lot of power from this one — rely on another rubber for that. You get used to it eventually, but as far as drives go, loop drives were easier to do than flat drives.

GETTER02 (Experience: 11〜20 years) A rubber whose biggest strengths are control and ease of use

The bounce is weak, so you won't get a ball flying off just by touching it.
On top of that, it doesn't have that automatic feel where the rubber does the work for you, so some people might think "what a useless rubber this is!"But personally, I love this rubber and keep using it.
Here's why:
① Compared to today's rubbers, it's less sensitive to the opponent's spin, so I make fewer mistakes on receive.
② There's a bit of that "grabbing" feeling you get from hitting hard with a Mark V, and it shows up even on soft shots, so I get a strong sense that I'm controlling the ball myself.
③ Because the bounce is weak, it gives me time to recover after hitting, and it also makes it easy to do things like stops or long-pips-style blocks and chops that kill the ball's momentum
④ Even though the bounce is weak, when you really hit hard there's still decent speed and spin, which creates a gap compared to how slow the soft shots are. Opponents who are used to the speed of tension rubbers tend to get stuck in that gap.
⑤ It's cheap.
⑥ It lasts a long time. Depending on the person, it might last over 3 months.
⑦ The rubber is super lightweight. Easy to use in both practice and matches. That's about it.
If you're not sure which rubber to pick, giving this one a try might be a nice change of pace.

sticky gorilla (Experience: 6〜10 years) Tough to use in modern table tennis

It basically doesn't have much bounce. I think it's good for choppers who prioritize stability or a grinding style.
Since it's soft, the ball drops when you hit it hard. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

This rubber is super soft.
The control is outstanding, making it perfect for learning new techniques.
It generates a good amount of spin, but the trade-off is that it's a bit slower.
I think it's great as your first rubber.
If you're just starting table tennis, definitely give this a try!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
