The first rubber to be introduced with Yasaka’s Hybrid Energy system was the Rakza 7, which is highly valued by high class players all over the world. The latest addition to the Rakza family is Rakza 9, which has improved speed characteristics. The surface rubber of Rakza 9 has a newly developed formula/rubber combination. In addition the new sponge is made of a more homogenous material and has larger pores. Rakza 9 is the fastest of Yasaka’s Hybrid Energy rubbers and is suitable for technical offensive players, using both high speed and spin to win the point.

It's easier to use than the 7 across a variety of techniques.
The feel of the ball gripping like on the 7 is weaker, and it's more springy as a result.
However, it's still easy to put spin on, and serves and the short game are easy to handle too.All Speed Spin Control

This is a different kind of rubber from Rakza 7. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants more speed than the 7.

Spin is a bit less than Rakza 7, but it's easier to control.
I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a little more speed than the 7.All Speed Spin Control

Compared to Rakza 7, the sponge is a bit softer and the rubber has more bounce. The topspin drive is fast, and while there's less spin than Rakza 7, it's become a rubber you can keep driving with consistently.

Really easy to loop drive with!!!
Even flat hits come out with decent speed.
It's bouncy, so there isn't that much spin (partly my own blade's fault too).
I think it pairs well with a softer blade.
But...
it's still a bit pricey, isn't it?All Speed Spin Control

I use this on my forehand.
Compared to the Rakza 7 Soft I have on my backhand, this one has more speed.
That said, the catalog claims it doesn't lose spin compared to Rakza 7, but since the ball leaves the rubber faster, the spin isn't really the same.
Still, for hitting forehand drives, this much speed is plenty satisfying. All Speed Spin Control
