The first rubber to be introduced with Yasaka’s Hybrid Energy system was the Rakza 7, which is highly valued by high class players all over the world. The latest addition to the Rakza family is Rakza 9, which has improved speed characteristics. The surface rubber of Rakza 9 has a newly developed formula/rubber combination. In addition the new sponge is made of a more homogenous material and has larger pores. Rakza 9 is the fastest of Yasaka’s Hybrid Energy rubbers and is suitable for technical offensive players, using both high speed and spin to win the point.

Personally I didn't think it was a great rubber. It felt like the speed was forced up somehow... If you're a player who can fully control it, it's insanely strong. In fact, I got completely destroyed by someone using it...

I stuck it out on my backhand for a week, but in the end I just couldn't handle this rubber.
Its hitting and blocking ability were top-notch, but even a light connecting shot on a ball to the middle would come out flat and dead, and I'd miss into the net.
Like others have written, this is a really difficult rubber.
Hitting against backspin and pushing also tended to pop up, which made things hard.
In the sense that it really made me appreciate how easy the C-1 I'd been using before was, it was a great rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I don't really feel much grip on the ball.
Topspin drives come out with a pretty low, fast trajectory that's hard for opponents to handle. It's not that there's no spin at all, but compared to spin-oriented rubbers the spin amount is clearly lower.
Flat hits came out fast and powerful.
Blocking is easy since it's not very affected by the opponent's spin.
Honestly, serves and receives don't get much spin on them. That said, speed-type serves come out fast, and receiving also has the advantage of not being much affected by the opponent's spin.
For short-game play, I got a better feel from a fast push than from trying to add my own spin.
I think this is a rubber that really splits opinion. Honestly, it's not suited to players whose style is all about piling on spin or dropping back to loop. But I imagine a fair number of players who like attacking with a fast pace close to the table would enjoy it.
That said, it's a double-edged sword of a rubber - if you can brush the ball properly you get shots that are hard to handle, but if you can't, you'll get caught in the net, so it really depends on the player.
Personally, I felt it worked well to put this on the backhand and a tacky rubber on the forehand, attacking off the difference in spin amount.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

First off, this rubber doesn't produce much of an arc.
But the ball isn't completely flat either.
"Draws a low arc" describes it perfectly.
When I actually played with it, it felt harder than the manufacturer's listed hardness.
That might be down to the topsheet hardness affecting the trajectory.
The short game also felt controlled, and it was easy to produce fast-feeling shots on both topspin drives and hits.
That said, the actual spin amount is fairly modest, so I don't think this is a rubber where looping is your main weapon.
On the other hand, it's also less affected by the opponent's spin, so I'd like players who enjoy blocking and hitting flat to give it a try.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

On the forehand, the trajectory is low and flat, and the ball often flies past the far end of the table. It feels like it leaves before you've fully grabbed it. On the backhand, though, it grips the ball properly, giving you a low, sharp arc that lets you attack aggressively.
Oddly enough it's also stable - I'd recommend this one for the backhand!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used it on both forehand and backhand.
Thanks in part to a blade with good ball-holding feel, my topspin drives came in with a flat, low trajectory, landing pop after pop. Even with a light touch and just a little grab on the ball, you get speed and distance, so personally I felt it suited me better than Rakza 7. That said, I think 7 still has the edge on power and stability when you swing all the way through. With the 9, a full swing gives you a great shot, but it tends to run away from you a bit and lacks that stability.
Serves and the short game also felt good - plenty of spin, and I could play exactly the way I wanted. Chiquita in particular was excellent, combining stability and power so it was easy to make the shot my own, which felt great.
For blocks and counters, it's less affected by the opponent's spin than 7, so you can return the ball stable and sharp.Like everyone else has said, I found this rubber really satisfying to use on the backhand. Even with a small motion, whether grabbing the ball or hitting flat, you get plenty of power. If you're looking for power from your blade, it's worth trying.

If you brush the ball you get good spin, and the speed is more than enough.
On the forehand the topsheet is strong and gives you a fair amount of speed, but it throws off your next move, so it's better on the backhand.
Since the ball comes off fast, it's great for matching your opponent's shot or snapping it in over the table.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
