Yasaka, using mainly natural rubber gum for the top sheet. This improves the level of grip and the power of spin drastically. The top sheet is combined with the new Power Sponge. The top sheet and Power Sponge work in perfect synergy, producing the Hybrid Energy rubber Rakza 7. When the player hits the ball hard, the rubber grips the ball and the stroke can be used to place the ball accurately, both in direction and length. The serve and short returns are very sharp and easy to handle. Due to the increased percentage of natural gum the durability is improved. A winning combination!

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly praised as a well-balanced rubber for beginners to intermediate players, particularly noted for ease of spin application and control. Compared to speed-oriented rubbers, it features a more linear trajectory and stability-focused design.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Spin is easy to apply; all techniques including drives and serves are stable
    • Soft sheet and hard sponge combination enables good ball grip
    • Excellent cost-performance ratio for intermediate players
    • Moderate speed and flight characteristics suit beginners
    • Relatively long durability with gradual performance degradation
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAfter trying various rubbers, this is ultimately the best. Spin application is easy, and even without excess force, substantial spin can be generated on shots.
▽ CriticalFor players focused on speed drives it may be good, but for loopy chop-oriented play, Vega Asia provides better spin performance.

Yasaka (Experience: 6〜10 years) Easily produces heavy shots

      Reviews by user

The spin is on another level. When I drove the ball, my opponent said it was way too heavy lol. When I received it myself too, the spin was incredible. Serves, receives, drives - all of it is really easy to do, and the bounce is kept fairly restrained for a German-style tension rubber. That said, when you catch the sweet spot on a hard hit, it really picks up speed and spin too - about on par with Tenergy. It also lasts a really long time, so it's good value for money too.

When I put my best serve on it, just touching it with the blade sent the ball flying off. Also, when I gave a light backspin serve, the opponent would try to return it softly and it would just go into the net. That said, it felt a little on the heavy side. I think it'd be even better if it were a bit lighter. The maker lists the hardness as 47.5, but I felt it was way softer than that. For drives, I think it works fine whether you brush it or sink the ball into it.

First off, this rubber lasts an incredibly long time. The topsheet grip is good, so serves and receives get plenty of spin too. The spin on drives is good and smashes are easy to hit as well. Compared to recent spin-oriented tension rubbers, the bounce is a bit more restrained, which makes it easy to use.

Yosuke The quintessential rubber for students

      Reviews by user

First off, with this rubber, the lifespan is simply outstanding. The drives are outstanding. The serves are outstanding.
It really lasts a long time. Before buying I thought it was expensive, but once I got it, seeing this lifespan for this price... I actually wondered if Yasaka was going to be okay lol
As for drives, with this thing you can pretty much do whatever you want. The height of the loop and the amount of spin are just perfect, so it must be pretty nasty for the opponent to deal with.
As for serves, like everyone else says, it's easy to use spin-based techniques, so they bite really well. It doesn't feel like I'm putting much spin on it myself, but when you actually watch it, it's a strange rubber that somehow produces some seriously nasty spin on the serve.
If I had to name a weak point, it'd probably be flat-hitting techniques. Being a hybrid rubber...
once you hit it past a certain power threshold, it suddenly flies way long. Seriously. It genuinely surprised me. I called it a weak point, but if you can master that trait, it'll probably be a really powerful rubber!
I'd love for students to try this rubber at least once.

Person table tennis equipment is anxious profusely (Experience: Less than a year)

      Reviews by user

A senior teammate of mine uses this, and the spin on his topspin serves is incredible. Just like everyone else's drives, all I can do is barely block it. The amount of spin this rubber puts out is really something. On top of that, since it uses natural rubber, it lasts a fairly long time. For me, it's pretty much all upside.

I used it on my forehand. Since the rubber is hard, it also suits a hitting/flat style, and the topsheet grip is good so drives are easy to hit too. It's a good rubber in a different way from Tenergy.
