Yasaka, using mainly natural rubber gum for the top sheet. This improves the level of grip and the power of spin drastically. The top sheet is combined with the new Power Sponge. The top sheet and Power Sponge work in perfect synergy, producing the Hybrid Energy rubber Rakza 7. When the player hits the ball hard, the rubber grips the ball and the stroke can be used to place the ball accurately, both in direction and length. The serve and short returns are very sharp and easy to handle. Due to the increased percentage of natural gum the durability is improved. A winning combination!

At first I thought it was just about spin, but once I actually used it, it had good speed too and a decent amount of stability - overall it left me with the impression of a really good rubber.

The defining trait of this rubber is, above all, how easy it is to control your power.
Unlike tension rubbers, it doesn't have that feeling of flying off on its own, so the short game is easy to do.
It feels like a high-elasticity rubber with its performance boosted, so if you don't swing properly, you end up with a flat, lifeless ball.
That's also an upside though, since it's a rubber that teaches you the feel of driving the ball yourself.
Both the sponge and the topsheet are on the slightly hard side, so personally I thought it worked better paired with a softer blade. All Speed Spin Control

At the school I used to go to, almost everyone using inverted rubber was on Rakza 7. It grips well for spin and is easy to use, so it's a rubber I'd really want drive-oriented players to try.

Table Tennis like Durability is...

Performance-wise there's nothing bad to say, but the topsheet's durability is really fragile - after using it for a while, bits started crumbling off around the edges. It might depend on how I use it, but I do think it's a great rubber.

The best thing about Rakza 7 is that it grips for spin while still being easy to control.
The grip isn't especially strong, but when you really put spin on it, it grips well,
and the control is good, so smashes go where you're aiming too.
Serves and pushes bite well, and even a thin chop bites nicely.
If I had to name a downside, it'd probably just be that the rubber is heavy.
I'd recommend it to players with a decent amount of power who are aiming for a spin-focused style of table tennis. All Speed Spin Control

I've only been using it for two or three weeks, but...
First, it grips really well for spin. My serves were absolutely vicious lol, and I actually got a lot more service aces in matches. The short game is also easy since it doesn't bounce too much. As for drives, since the rubber isn't overly hard, you can both sink the ball in or brush it for a loop-style stroke. In my case, the brushing style is easier for me. I've also heard it lasts a long time, so I'm glad I switched to this rubber. The weak point is that the control is a bit tricky at first until you get used to it.All Speed Spin Control
