The New Spin Machine!
No speed glue is needed! Trough continues testing it has been possible to concentrate the "tension increase" on the spin factor. Until now , "tension rubber" concentrated on increasing spin and speed equally but with the Yasaka concept the "spin tension" increase by 2/3rd and the speed tension increased by 1/2.XTEND does develop superior spin characteristics especially useful for the 40 mm ball.

Okay so... the feel on contact is just... divine.
I've only hit with it on my Sanalion S, so I don't know how it'd feel on another blade. But man, the feel on contact was soooooo good.
There's no shot it can't do (well, obviously). But don't expect much power behind the ball.But listen, everyone.

This is a really easy-to-use tension rubber with no weird quirks. The speed and spin aren't top-tier, but it still has enough overall performance to genuinely qualify as a tension rubber. Control in particular is excellent, so I can recommend it as an entry point into tension rubber. It's also fairly light, so it seems like it'd work well on a penhold backhand too. For beginner-to-intermediate players, I actually think this rubber will help you improve more than some high-performance, expensive tension rubber would. The sponge is also on the softer side, so even players without a strong impact can hit good shots with it.

Spin didn't bite quite as much, but since I had it on my backhand, my chiquitas and backhand drives went in consistently. If possible, I'd recommend using it on the backhand.

I used it for a while, but on the backhand the bounce wasn't enough and it was hard to use.
But on the forehand, it feels like it wraps around the ball, and I think it's easy to use.

Back in the 1990s, I used to play with Mark V combined with various speed glues. Later, that kind of glue was banned, but now that things are this way, I find that this Extend feels very close to that old-school feel, so I like using it (even though the ball has changed from 38mm to 40mm). If you're someone who prefers a drive where you let the ball sink into the rubber and generate spin rather than brushing it, I think this would be a good recommendation.

Waguti (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Perfect for penhold backhand

I use this on the backhand side of my penhold blade.
The ball sinks in nicely and it generates a fair amount of spin. It doesn't have much grip on its own, but on the flip side, it's less affected by the opponent's spin.
Because of that, drive receives and chiquitas are stable. That's honestly the best part.
It's also lightweight. Even with a Chinese rubber on the forehand side, the weight balance doesn't bother me.
I don't really have any complaints, though at an advanced level you might find the spin and speed a bit lacking.
People often say the lifespan is short, and while it's true the rubber chips fairly easily, I don't feel like the actual performance degrades that quickly.
