If it had a bit more bounce it'd be perfect. Also, since the other side is pips rubber, I use this side for putting spin on the ball. So there's plenty of spin. The drive is stable too

The drive was really great. When I hit a loop, blocks basically didn't come back.

Here's a comparison with Tenergy 05.
Spin: slightly inferior. But still a lot.
Speed: about the same.
Feel: the sheet is a little softer and the sponge is harder, so it's almost the same.
Sound: depends on the blade, but pretty much the same.
Flight: since it uses carbon sponge instead of spring sponge, it drops off a bit.
Grip on the ball: feels slightly better.
That's roughly how it compares. I think this is the closest to Tenergy out of the whole Vega line. My friend told me it's good on the backhand. I think it's good on the backhand too, but since I play with inverted rubber on one side and a different rubber on the other, I have to use it on the forehand, and it's pretty good there too. It's on the firm side, so if you have power, you can hit drives that dig right into the opponent's court!
Spin-based techniques like serves are generally easy to do
That said, if you don't have some skill, your drives will overshoot constantly.

I use Vega Pro MAX on the forehand and Curl P-1R OX on the backhand, on a low-bounce defensive blade.
My style is mainly to confuse the opponent with the pips on my backhand, and then smash with the forehand when an easy ball comes.Serves get a ton of spin on them!!
Maybe because the blade has low bounce, I can put spin on the ball as hard as I want without it bouncing too much.Drives get a lot of spin too!!
Loop drives especially get a lot of spin, and I feel like opponents block into the net or off the end a lot.The smash has outstanding power and consistency.
The biggest factor for me in choosing a forehand rubber is smash power and consistency.
The consistency of putting away chance balls for sure is the best I've felt out of any rubber I've used so far!!I'm a table tennis equipment geek, so I keep cheating on it with popular rubbers like Tenergy 05, Fastarc G-1, and various other tension and tacky rubbers, but in the end I always miss Vega Pro and come back to it.
Recommended for players who want to slam powerful smashes into their opponent!!

I've used this before too.
Back then I wasn't very good, so I couldn't really make the most of it.
This time, I put it on my backhand. On my forehand I have Hurricane NEO3.
As for my impressions: at first I struggled with overshooting and getting the angle wrong, but as I got used to it, counters and chiquitas became really easy to do.
Chinese players sometimes switch their tension-rubber side to the forehand when lobbing, to smash — so I tried copying that.
The smash was flawless, amazing.
One thing to note: if you want a lot of speed and spin on your forehand drive, or if you're using it on the backhand, you need quite a bit of power.
If you don't have much power, think of it as a rubber for adding spin on serves and pushes.
I did try the forehand drive too, just to see. It had been a while since I'd hit with it, but yeah, Vega Pro is great after all!
Next, I'm going to buy a Butterfly ALC blade, and I'm thinking of putting either Vega Pro or Hurricane Pro3 Turbo Orange on the forehand. For the backhand, I'm thinking either Vega Pro or Vega Asia.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Cutman (Experience: ２〜３ years) Hard, yet it grips the ball

Even though this rubber is hard, the ball sinks into the sponge so well that you can hit with confidence. It has good grip on the ball too, so it's easy to put spin on.
