Spin is the most important element of modern table tennis. Not only the strength of spin but also the stability and secure feel have been desired by many players. VEGA series is the realization of the dream. VEGA is the mixture of two new technologies - HYPER ELASTO and CARBO SPONGE. Both of them are based on TENSOR technology which gives rubber the effect of built-in tension. HYPER ELASTO provides extreme spin and stability, and black colored CARBO SPONGE provides innovative efficiency of energy. Further, the feel of VEGA is exciting but comfortable. Its ease of use will help players play “winning” table tennis. Now four variations are available. All of them provide exceptional spin capability. VEGA PRO is for extreme spin, softer VEGA ASIA is for more speed, VEGA EUROPE is softer with more control, and finally, the softest VEGA ELITE is for extreme control.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This rubber is highly praised for its outstanding cost-performance and excellent spin capability, while its high hardness and weight are recognized as drawbacks. It is positioned as a rubber suitable for intermediate players with strong technique, with recommendations favoring single-side forehands during the learning progression stage.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent value with abundant spin, especially powerful drive capability
    • Hard sponge at 47.5 durometer provides stable short-range shots and easy blocking
    • Heavy rubber makes dual-side use difficult; forehands are strongly recommended
    • Requires strong impact and challenging for beginners to handle effectively
    • Long durability and excellent wear resistance; achieves Tenergy-like performance at lower cost
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveWhen I drove with this rubber, my friend said it looked like a tire because it was so heavy. You get excellent spin at a cheap price, and the cost-performance is outstanding.
▽ CriticalThe disappointing part is that spin doesn't apply well on either drives or serves. Because the sheet is quite taut, the ball flies without gripping, creating a straight trajectory without an arc.

      Mashubo mushrooms Great topsheet

      Reviews by user

My impression was that it's fairly hard. It's an old rubber by today's standards, but the topsheet grips the ball well, making grazing drives easy to hit.
Since it's on the harder side, meaty hits were also easy.
It's cheap, and true to the Vega name, it left me with the impression of great value for money.
I'd recommend it as your third rubber when stepping up.

    • Forehand Boom Boom

Forehand Boom Boom (Experience: 6〜10 years) Easy to control!

      Reviews by user

I put this on the backhand of an all-wood 7-ply blade. The first time I hit with it, it felt harder than I expected. I also found it easy to control backhand drives right in front of me.
When I hit forehand shots, it felt lacking in power and wasn't enough for me. This time I was using a 7-ply blade so I could force the ball in, but it might be tough with a 5-ply. I can't recommend it to players who prioritize power. For players who prioritize control, though — on the backhand only — this is a rubber I'd recommend. It's also good for beginners who are one year in.

Circle (Experience: 2〜3 years) Spin and speed, no complaints! Glad I bought it

      Reviews by user

Just like everyone says, you get drives with real power and spin!

The spin on serves is also crazy good.
      Smashes land well too.

Great value for money too, no complaints. I used to have short pips on my forehand and struggled with a lack of spin, so switching my forehand to this Vega Pro was a great decision!!

Back table soft man (Experience: 2〜3 years) Very hard with amazing spin

      Reviews by user

The good thing about this rubber is, first of all, it generates a ton of spin. When you hit a loop drive, your opponent often overhits it long. The short game is very easy to play. This rubber is hard and suited for the forehand, but I also tried it on the backhand. I can't recommend it for the backhand though — backhand shots tend to go long. Both forehand and backhand chops get plenty of spin and are easy to control. I think it's hard for beginners to use.

      Kamacho Good rubber

      Reviews by user

Topspin drives and blocks are both very easy to pull off. And above all, the short game is fantastic.
Pushes and the like really bite into the ball. Since it's on the harder side, I think it suits the forehand.

There chan On the hard side

      Reviews by user

When I tried it, it was quite hard.
When you hit it hard, the sound is almost metallic.
I think it's suited for the forehand.
I'd recommend it for intermediate players and above.
