Everyone keeps saying Vega Japan flies in a straight line, but that's not what I found!
It flies with a really nice arc!
Though on smashes and the like, it does go pretty straight!It's a bit of an advanced-player rubber though!

I switched over from Bryce FX.
This rubber is good at speed, spin, and control — all of it.

It does combine speed and spin, but the trajectory is quite flat and straight, so it's a matter of personal preference.

I play an all-around style close to the table using an unorthodox rubber.
This Vega Japan is a really well-balanced rubber. It has speed, spin, and control all together. Smash speed and drive stability especially stand out. Spin on serves is decent. If anything, Vega Pro gives more spin by comparison.
Overall, I'd recommend it to players who prioritize speed and control but still want spin. I'd actually recommend it more to loop drive players than to close-to-the-table all-around players with unorthodox rubber like me.All Speed Spin Control

It felt like the spin and speed had been boosted compared to the Europe version.
Also, it's harder than the Europe version, but I didn't find it any harder to handle.
It says "Japan" on it, but I think it's best thought of as a German-style tension rubber.All Speed Spin Control

This was great~ It's really easy to put spin on your drives. It's easy to use even among tension rubbers, so I'd recommend it to anyone who values consistency!

a Cutman From a chopper's view…

As a chopper, I tried this out, and
it cuts more backspin than I expected.
But since the ball flies in a straight line,
rather than attacking like the player Chin Eisei (sorry, I don't know the kanji for the name)…
I'd recommend more of a playing style where you go all-forehand close to the table and chop once you drop back.All Speed Spin Control
