It gets a good amount of spin and holds the ball well.
The speed is about average, I'd say.

My impression of using this on the forehand — the biggest thing is that drives draw a nice arc and are really stable. The sheet grips the ball well, so I can hit shot after shot in a row. Both the push and the stop in the short game are stable and easy to control. That said, drives draw a pretty high arc, and against backspin they're very stable, but sometimes the ball doesn't get much spin at all and comes out as a flat, weak ball, which can get countered — that's the downside. Still, I think it's a rubber with really good value for the price.

I've tried every rubber in the Vega series except the China version, and I think this one is the best choice for the forehand. The grip is excellent, and it doesn't feel too hard — it grips the ball nice and naturally. It's great for hitting drives, really easy. The only thing is the short game might be a little tricky (you'll be fine once you get used to it). If you want to build the fundamentals of your drive, this rubber is ideal. I think Vega Japan on the forehand and Vega Europe on the backhand is a good combo.
It's not really suited for beginners. Once you're good enough to make the city top 8, you'll really understand how great this rubber is. So I'd recommend it to intermediate or advanced players who want a nicer blade but a cheaper rubber!!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is a rubber that just grips the ball, no matter what!
It feels like Vega Asia with a bit less speed and a lot more grip added on.
Driving backspin balls up is super easy, and against topspin you do feel some of the opponent's spin.
The chop is simply wonderful — for control and sharpness it's every bit as good as Tenergy. Not just Vega Japan, the whole Vega line is really an amazing series...All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The grip on the ball is just incredibly strong — I'd say this might be the best in the Vega series.
Within the Vega line, I think it's closest to Vega Asia.
It feels like Vega Asia but with the grip cranked way up, so of course you're more affected by the opponent's spin!

This is a rubber I used before. I had it on my forehand. It's easy to put spin on with a drive. But it's hard, so the ball sometimes flies out on you quite a bit. I'd recommend putting it on the forehand.
