This version confers the highest dynamic and thus makes MX-P the fastest rubber of the EVOLUTION rubber family. Thanks to the perfect adjustment of the pimple geometry we managed to produce a rubber with more flexibility conferring to attacking balls extra energy. Thanks to this specificity, MX-P is very well adapted to any player’s game, making no concession in terms of speed and spin.

Used 1.9mm black on the forehand.
Since I was switching from 42.5°, it felt hard at first.
If you don't swing properly the ball doesn't go well at all, but once I used my hips to hit, I got tremendous power.

Spin-focused drives and the short game are especially easy.
Speed-oriented drives are super stable and great.
But it doesn't produce that much raw speed, so I think a strategy based on pushing with spin works well.
Chiquita has good grip on the ball, so it's easy to do.

If you're a strong hitter, the forehand might feel a bit lacking, but there's also a 50° version, so using that should solve it. I'm planning to use it on my backhand next.

On the backhand. I switched over from Fastarc C-1.
At first it doesn't feel very natural, but keep using it a bit longer! It really grows on you!
Above all, chiquita is so easy with this!

It's just so consistent!
During backhand rallies, my mistakes other than occasional edge balls seemed to drop.
It doesn't sink, so I could swing with confidence.

Used at max thickness on both forehand and backhand.
The good thing about this rubber is that if you swing all the way through, everything goes in, and you get plenty of speed and arc too.
On the flip side, the rubber is fairly heavy, so without enough power to swing through fully you might end up with flat, dead balls.
It's an interesting rubber because how the ball flies changes a lot depending on the blade you pair it with.

I compared this against Tenergy 05 and Dignics 05.
Overall, this rubber shows its strength on smashes and topspin rallies.
For bounce, MX-P feels like it sinks in and flies the most out of the three. The impact sound is also higher-pitched.
For drives, hitting with a light graze-and-brush gives a stable arc. On low contact points, relying on just the sheet felt a bit unreliable.
For blocking, the sheet doesn't lose to the spin, so even with a rough angle, keeping the bounce down lets it come back.
In the short game, it felt like it bounced a little too much. Chiquita and pushes were easier with Dignics 05.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

My first impression after switching from G-1 is that the ball comes off fast!!
That makes it easy to rally and counter against topspin and to smash against backspin! But looping means brushing the ball, which felt a bit awkward, and it didn't seem to generate that much spin. Also, if you hit the center of the rubber you get a heavy ball, but hitting the edge gives you a flat, dead ball. I practice about 3 hours a day, and in less than two months the pips had started lifting and the rubber had degraded. You'll need to replace it more often, but it's a really good rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The sheet is softer than I expected, and it's easy to use.
It lifts backspin balls up properly too, and never loses out on spin — no real weaknesses.
Overall it's a well-balanced, good rubber with long durability, so if you don't have a particular preference outside of Tenergy, it's fair to say this is the obvious choice.If you're looking for something better than this, the only options left are the kind that are considered advanced-level and hard to handle.
