I didn't really feel the increase in ball power that the marketing copy promises, like "your opponent will be shocked."
But this rubber has an all-round quality where every technique comes out at like an 80-90 out of 100!!

Like others have said, the ball-holding is amazing. For players who can generate their own spin, using it on both sides could work well too. The consistency of the drive with this rubber is great. That said, I personally prefer harder rubbers, so I never really got used to the feel of the MX-P and switched away from it pretty quickly. I think it's a rubber that splits opinion, but it's a really good one.

The ball-holding is amazing, so I could easily loop up backspin balls. Other techniques are easy to do too! And what surprised me the most was the smash. It was so fast the opponent basically couldn't even touch it. Plus it lasts a really long time. Definitely give it a try!!

Just like everyone else says, the grip on the ball is amazing! It's also very easy to control, and if you brush the ball properly you get spin close to a tacky rubber. When you swing through it, the speed comes out more than expected too!
Basically you can do loop drives from close to mid-distance, and hit chiquitas that curve like crazy.
Tricky plays like chops, "miyuta," or sidespin receives that overwrite the opponent's spin also work consistently thanks to the grip and spin!Drives from away from the table have a high arc, lots of spin, and good speed too — it's an all-around rubber you can use whether you hit flat or brush it!
I really think this is a rubber that lets you bring out power in an all-round style!

This is the rubber with the longest ball-holding I've ever used. Because the ball holds so long, the control is outstanding, and it's easy to choose whether or not to add spin to a drive, in a way that's hard for opponents to read! The amount of spin is beyond complaint too - you can play an all-round game, and since it lifts pretty much anything, it's brutal against choppers too, lol. Of course, if a chopper uses it, it performs great as well! It cuts the ball like crazy, and while it's a little hard to keep under control, it goes in deep, which is really good - for a chopper, this is a real "chop everything down" style rubber!
On top of that, this rubber's topsheet is really tough and basically never chips. I imagine a lot of people reading this play at a level where they make it to prefectural tournaments, and if your rubber chips on tournament day and you suddenly need a brand-new one, or suddenly have to switch to a backup racket, you can't play your normal game. And being tough also means great value for money - it's not a cheap rubber, but it ends up saving you money in the long run, so if this review has gotten you even a little interested, I really want you to try it at least once! This isn't a tacky-type topsheet. If I had to compare it, it's more similar to the topsheet on the Omega 5 series. The sponge's pores are, well, huge. The biggest I've ever seen.
When I hit drives, it was easier to hit by grazing the ball rather than sinking it in. Sinking the ball in is difficult. The sponge is 47.5 degrees, so it's just not doable with my swing speed. Countering was easy to do. When you brush it lightly, it gets a ton of spin. But when I tried to counter a Hurricane loop... it slipped. In practice-match situations, right when I want to decide the point and speed up my swing, it slips.
