NO.1 table tennis review site

I bought this because Kura-san on WRM praised it so highly.
Being a tension rubber, at first it bounced too much and I couldn't really handle it, but I've finally gotten used to it. My chops come out low and skidding with a lot of bite, so I think drive players find them really hard to return. On top of that, I can chop consistently — I've definitely made fewer chopping errors. The one downside is that the trajectory tends to be flat, so if you chop hard on a ball that's below table height it can go long, but even a light chop puts enough spin on it to cover for that. The push is sharp, just like they advertise, though if you don't really cut it well it's easy to net. For drives, the ball comes out fast with a lot of spin. Even balls below table height come up easily with just a light graze. Personally I found it easier to hit by really sinking the ball into the sponge.
Also, blocking close to the table — just blocking the ball sends it back pretty fast. I think this is a good choice for choppers playing mid-distance to away from the table, and for blockers close to the table.

Both the sheet and the sponge are on the harder side, but I felt the ball sinks into the sponge easily.
It grips the ball well, so both grazing topspin drives and drives where you really sink the ball in are easy to hit, with plenty of spin.
For the short game, it doesn't bounce too much so it's easy to control.
The price is high, but the performance is there.

You can hit topspin drives with a really satisfying feel.

In particular, counters felt easier than with Tenergy. Maybe it's less affected by the opponent's spin?

A teammate of mine who's a chopper uses it too, and his chops started biting a lot more — he's gotten stronger because of it. Works for attacking too, it seems? Seems like it suits choppers as well.

The only downside is the high price. I wish something could be done about that...

It's light for a German rubber, so even I could use it. I use it on the backhand side.

Among Tibhar's lineup it's on the softer side for the sponge, but I'd say it's about average compared to rubbers in general.

It gets solid spin so it's easy to use, and blocking especially is easy. As long as you don't get the angle wrong on a short bounce, it comes back almost every time.

I've been using it for three months, practicing four times a week, and the spin still doesn't seem to have dropped off at all, so it has a long lifespan and is economical.
