Super Spinpips Chop combines the excellent pimple surface with a controlled, slightly slower sponge. This combination strengthens the pimples effect and gives an extremely better control. Additionaly, like with all Spinpips rubbers, individual spin variations are possible.

This rubber is also part of the famous Super Spin Pips series. It's the original Chop Sponge, and the first time I used it I was blown away! It's a revolutionary short pips rubber that lets you produce knuckle balls easily while still generating solid spin! Any short pips user who hasn't tried it should give it a try at least once!

I used this on the forehand of a penhold blade.
Since it's meant for chopping, it had good stability. However, when I hit a meet shot at around 50-60% power, it was easily returned, so I think it suits players who are confident in their physicality. For a short shot with a bit of chop on it, since it's a chop-oriented rubber, it lands cleanly on the opponent's side of the table.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'd used Chop 2 before, so I was shocked at how hard this one is...
Going with the thick version was the right call. I think something like extra-thin would be a bit too extreme.The bounce is moderate. I chop without backing off much, and there were cases where the ball didn't lose speed, catching my opponent off guard. It really is easy to produce knuckle balls, and easy to switch between shots even on reflex swings.
You can also produce sharp chops without any problem.It does grip the ball, so pushes bite well, and I'd recommend it to choppers who like to add variation.
If you smash it hard close to the table, you can ignore a bit of spin, so I think it would suit players who attack by flicking with short pips on the backhand.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This review is mainly based on using it on my backhand.
It's labeled as a chop sponge, but this time I tried using it for offense.First, if you block without swinging yourself, it automatically comes out as a knuckle ball. It's a relaxed, low-trajectory knuckle ball, so my opponents ended up netting it quite a bit.
Also, if you hit it with a punching motion, it turns into a fast, straight knuckle ball, which is also a tough ball for the opponent to handle.
However, if you swing through yourself, the ball is powerful, but the misses increase too, so it felt a bit risky.Overall, playing aggressively with it is a bit tough, but I think it's a rubber that can be used for more than just defense.
