Used thinly on the backhand.
I'm a defensive player (cutter).
The best spin comes from a technique somewhere between "sliding on the surface" and "hitting the wood."
It generates enough spin that the ball bounces back on the table. It also generates speed, making it excellent for cutting.
However, its lifespan is relatively short. Since it's inexpensive, you can replace it when you feel the spin has decreased.
It can also be used for attacking, but it's a bit difficult.
Based on my experience using the Matsushita Koji Defensive racket, which has significantly reduced bounce, I would have preferred a racket with a bit more bounce.
