In this rubber developed by Butterfly “microlayer” technology is used to enhance the grip at the ball contact.
The combination with the “High Tension” technology leads to greater rotation and pace than the previous BRYCE series.

TECHNOLOGY
The High Tension technology interweaves the molecules of various rubber material so that the rubber in contact with the ball contracted very intense. Thus, the ball gets a reinforced pulse.
18 years ago the first BRYCE flooring with High Tension technology has been brought to market. Since as long ago the Department of research works and development of Butterfly on refining this patented technology, the ability of the rubber material to speed development to increase still further.
The latest result of this research is Bryce HIGH SPEED which the ball higher speed gives as all other coverings developed to date.
THE NEW “MICROLAYER” TECHNOLOGY INCREASING SPEED AND ROTATION
Micro Layer vs Normal: Furthermore, a new achievement of the Butterfly research is processed in BRYCE HIGH SPEED: the technique of “microlayer”. In addition to the enormous speed the ball can be given upon contact also much rotation.
The flooring surface is remarkably thin. The pad is pressed in contact with the ball and the surface contracts. A high rotation is generated in tangential meeting place. It was deliberately chosen a simple nap structure, which optimizes the covering on speed.

The speed is insane! It's like it's been coated in speed glue. The control is spot-on too. But the spin... I think it suits an all-out attacking style of table tennis.

I tried both Bryce Speed and Bryce High Speed on a Jun Mizutani ZLC.
Touching the surface, it doesn't reach Tenergy-series levels, but it definitely has more grip than Bryce Speed.
It has less grip than Tenergy 64, but it's faster than the 64.
Now for the test hits. First, forehand hits — whoa, it really flies, but it still arcs properly, more so than Bryce Speed
does. It's crazy. It's like the old days when people used speed glue.
Next, blocking. It's really easy to do, but it still flies a lot. I think this is an amazing, cutting-edge rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Even a heavily cut push can be lifted into a super-fast topspin drive. It really feels like a rubber that finally rivals Tenergy. I use "Tyranno rubber" on the backhand, so with fast put-aways the opponent just sinks, and making the round of 8 at nationals shouldn't be too hard. I'm going to nationals, and I'd go as far as saying I'm pretty confident — that's the kind of rubber this is. For the backhand, I guess prioritizing speed is the way to go.

God This is Bryce High Speed

I've used Bryce Speed before too, but there's no comparison.
Bryce High Speed is basically a Tenergy 64 with the speed turned up.
It gets plenty of spin and has a lot of speed too. But honestly, it bounces too much.
For someone like me who plays with Chinese tacky rubber on the forehand, it's an absolute wild horse.
That said, when I'm away from the table it's easy to use since it goes in just by making contact.
If you're switching straight from tacky rubber to this, be careful.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

My impression after using it is that since the ball flies, you'll probably get a lot of overshoot misses at first. Once you get used to it, you can produce really fast drives and fast pushes, making it easier to take control of the exchange and get stronger in rallies. If you don't sink the ball properly into the rubber, you won't get a good shot, so it's perfect for players who can hit with a solid, deep contact.

This is Butterfly's new product, and I basically use it feeling like it's a boosted version of Bryce Speed FX. Smashes and drives go in with terrifying speed... It's a rubber with a lot of bounce, but I never felt like the short game was hard to play. Also, maybe not many shakehand players use it (I do), but the pushes are amazing. They come in at an incredibly fast speed! So blocks are fast too. Even when you're defending, it turns into offense. That said, it's not that it lacks stability — I think it's a really good rubber overall. That said, they say the grip on the ball has been increased, but I couldn't really tell. Tenergy 80 gripped the ball more for me. Well, that might be because of the years I've spent using Tenergy... but anyway, there's so much speed that I don't worry much about spin. Still, it does have a weakness when it comes to spin... Chiquita was really hard to do. Well, that's understandable since it's a soft rubber. It feels like a more user-friendly version of Tenergy. Honestly, it's a rubber for beginners. I wonder if they'll come out with a Bryce High Speed Hard.
