These are my impressions from borrowing a friend's and trying it out.
It has amazing grip on the ball.
The backhand topspin drive is really strong with this, so I'd recommend using it close to the table!!!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This is the hardest rubber I've ever come across...
I think it's better to brush it like a tacky rubber rather than sinking the ball in. When you brush it, you get a slow, heavy ball with a huge amount of spin — a really good shot.
For the short game, it bites and stops the ball like a tacky rubber, and rallies were easier to play than with tacky rubber.
When you brush it for attacking shots, it felt like a fusion of a tension rubber's flight and ease of use with tacky rubber's spin.
As for defense, hitting it flat made blocking easy too, and especially for counters, just hitting it a bit firmly let you punch right through — very easy to use.
The gap between the grip when brushing and the release when hitting flat, plus the fact that it's super heavy, were the drawbacks.
I think it suits people who use a lot of topspin drives, rallies, and counters.
Since it doesn't fly too much, I think it's also good for chopping. I thought this was a fantastic rubber for the forehand of a power-attacking player.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This is the hardest and heaviest rubber I've ever used. It felt harder than Power Grip with its German sponge hardness of 50 degrees.
Even though the ball comes off quickly, the speed isn't especially fast compared to other rubbers, so it's a bit tricky to handle.
The spin is considerable whether you brush it or sink the ball in. Sinking it in seemed to generate more spin and a heavier ball, but whether you can actually sink the ball in depends on your strength.
That said, the short game, blocks, and counters are easy to do, and it had a tacky-rubber-like feel.
I think you need real physical strength to handle the Evolution MX-S.
But if a strong block-and-counter player with that kind of strength uses it, it's like giving an ogre a club.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This rubber grips the ball about as much as Rasant Power Grip. That said, it's heavy, so it might be tough to handle without a carbon blade or something similar.

Hard, incredibly hard...
Without power, you can't really hit a topspin drive that sinks into the sponge. But if you brush the ball, you do get spin. Speed comes out easily, though it depends on the blade. It has good rebound and flies well... Putting it on the Photino makes it really easy to generate speed.
For blocks, it seems best to punch through the ball.
I think this suits a 5-ply all-wood blade better than a special-material one - it kind of feels like a tacky rubber in that sense.
It's like they took the hitting style and performance of a tacky rubber and turned it into a tension rubber with more bounce.
To really use this well, you need to hit hard all the time. Otherwise, you'll end up peeling it off the blade before you ever bring out its real performance. The one I used is now on a hard hitter's backhand...All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

It's pricey, lol. Honestly I feel like the MX-P has the edge on ball-holding, but this one really puts on a lot of spin. With the MX-P you hold the ball and spin it, but with this rubber you can spin it while holding the ball, and also spin it by brushing, so the amount of spin stays consistent! Perfect for an intermediate player's forehand!
