EL-S: high grip PRO top sheet, elastic medium-hard sponge, extremely high speed and maximum spin. The EL-S combines the enormous spin values of the MX-S with a completely new rubber surface and the power of the MX-P. TIBHAR created a stand-alone rubber in the evolution series, with a medium-hard sponge and a specially tuned pimple geometry, setting new standards in terms of elasticity. The EL-S gives sensational touch despite enormous dynamism and high spin values. Excelling at topspin, the EL-S offers high rotation and power in all game situations.
- Pimples in
- Strong sheet grip makes spin application easy
- Hard ball feel with high stability in front court
- Hard sheet requires significant force to use
- Sheet edges chip easily, durability concerns
- Racket performance significantly affects results

Comparing it to the MX-P, the EL-S is soft and holds the ball really well, so topspin drives, chiquitas, and counters all feel stable and are very easy to control.
The downside is that because it's soft and holds the ball so well, blocking a fast drive from your opponent is a bit harder.
But even taking that into account, it's a really high-performance rubber.
I felt it was especially suited to the backhand.
(On the forehand it felt too soft and a bit lacking.)

To put it in comparison, it feels somewhere between Rakza 7 and Tenergy 05.
I don't feel any hardness at all — if anything, it feels soft.
For spin, you can do all sorts of things — sink the ball in and spin it, or brush it, whatever you like. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Spin is just so easy to put on!
Power goes up too, and it's easy to control!
It's not heavy either, so it's easy to swing all the way through even without much strength! All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Just my gut feeling, but it's like a slightly harder Tenergy 05 FX. Spin is easy to put on, and serves cut through nicely too.

It's soft, and the ball goes in whether you brush it or sink it in. Serves are easy too — no complaints, a great rubber.

I put the 1.9 thickness on my backhand.
This is a comparison with Hexer Grip (1.9) on my forehand.
- Speed: Evo ≈ Hexer — didn't feel much difference.
- Spin: Evo ≥ Hexer — for flat hits, the Evo puts on more. Personally I prefer looping by using the sheet's grip, so the Hexer felt easier to spin with, but the max spin ceiling goes to the Evo.
- Ease of generating spin: as above, depends on your stroke.
- Control: Evo ≤ Hexer — barely any difference; this rating is partly just because I personally like the Hexer.
- Grip on the ball: Evo < Hexer — the Evo isn't weak at all either, so it's not something I notice (the Hexer is just that strong).
- Durability: Evo >> Hexer — I'm glad the Evo series lasts a long time. The Hexer wears out faster.Overall, for better or worse, it's performance that matches the price. You won't go badly wrong using it.
It doesn't produce that much distance, so I'd recommend it for the backhand of a close-to-the-table drive style. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I switched over from the G-1. The ball dwell time is better than before, which makes the short game easier. The power is more than enough too.
