Yutchi @ cut Chinese rubber?

People around me don't rate this very highly, but I liked it. It doesn't have the awkwardness of a Chinese rubber, and you can use it like a tension rubber. You might think "then why not just use a tension rubber," but it still carries over the good qualities of Chinese rubber. Put positively, it takes the best of both Chinese and tension rubbers; put negatively, it also has the downsides of both lol. It feels like a tension rubber with good spin and a calmer bounce. Highly recommended for choppers!

This used to be my favorite rubber, but it's barely available anymore, probably because it's been discontinued. Hitting off a push feels really powerful (thanks to my blade), but during topspin rallies I noticed a lot of long misses. That's where it differs from tension rubbers like Tenergy. The short game — pushes and so on — is no problem at all. Serve and receive are also fine for the most part. I think this suits players who skip the rallies and go for broke straight off a push from the table. Though of course it depends on the person.

I bought this because I like DHS.
It barely feels like a Chinese rubber at all.
But because of that, it was easy to use, and I liked the sound, so I used it for a long time.
I'd still like to use it now, but it's hard to find for sale... too bad.All Speed Spin Control

The topsheet isn't very tacky, so it doesn't really have that "Chinese rubber" feel.
Overall the performance is on the higher end, and if you hit hard you get quite a lot of speed, but on average neither the speed nor the spin really stands out, and there's no particular technique it makes especially easy, so the value for money isn't that great. All Speed Spin Control
