    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • High speed performance makes drive shots more powerful
    • Good spin potential for a speed-type rubber, avoiding flat balls
    • Soft sheet properties make it easy for beginners to handle
    • Less susceptible to opponent's spin, stabilizing blocks and counters
    • Achieves high performance at an affordable price point around 3000 yen
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAmazed by the speed of speed drives and loop drives are also easy to execute. Excellent sheet grip with low susceptibility to opponent's spin and easy to handle overall.
▽ CriticalCompared to spin-type tension rubbers, rotation amount drops significantly. The shortage of spin is noticeable given high expectations. It also underperforms compared to similarly priced rubbers in grip and maximum rotation value.

Chomei (Experience: More than 20 years) The smash is fast

      Reviews by user

For topspin drives, this is the fastest I can hit. It doesn't beat Bryce High Speed, but it's still fast, so I'd recommend it to players who like to attack quickly.

Among speed-oriented tension rubbers, this one gets spin too, and of course it has speed, so I thought it was really easy to use. I'd recommend it to anyone using a speed-oriented tension rubber for the first time.

KENTO KENTO KENTO (Experience: 2〜3 years) Now I can generate speed

      Reviews by user

Since I started using this rubber, I get more speed than before and my shots have become more stable. Right now I have Omega V Pro on my B side, and with this combination, both my forehand and backhand have become more stable than before, my drive speed has also increased compared to before, and I've started winning more matches in tournaments. I'd recommend this Plaxon 450 to anyone who wants to perfect their forehand drive.

Lasagna (Experience: 4〜5 years) Tough when the ball's on you

      Reviews by user

      Good value for money.
Like everyone else says, the performance is pretty impressive too.
That said, if you can't get around the ball and hit it from an unstable position, it tends to dive straight into the net.
But if you hit it properly, it really shows what it can do.

PARADOX (Experience: 2〜3 years) I was amazed...

      Reviews by user

First off, I was surprised by how fast the speed drive is. And loop drives were easy to hit too!
It's been a while since I came across a rubber that made me think, "this is great."

    • Manabuto

Manabuto (Experience: 11〜20 years) Spin is quite lacking

      Reviews by user

I expected a lot of spin for a speed-oriented rubber, but compared to spin-oriented tension rubbers, it falls way short. Even when I lowered my expectations and told myself "that's just how it is," the spin still felt seriously lacking. I thought the speed was decent, though.

Personally, I didn't like it that much.
If I had to find a use for it, it seems good for meeting the opponent's drive on the backhand with a shakehand grip, since it didn't feel very affected by the opponent's spin.

As a side note, if you want a speed-oriented tension rubber, I'd personally recommend Butterfly's Bryce Speed. It's expensive, but it beats this one in both spin and speed.

Medium pen guy (Experience: 4〜5 years) Depends on the person

      Reviews by user

I'd recommend this for people who don't get along with spin-oriented tension rubbers, or who haven't developed the feel for putting spin on the ball, and also for the forehand side of a penhold blade. I used to play Chinese penhold with short pips, and when I switched to inverted, I went with this rubber. It gives you speed and is surprisingly easy to control, so I recommend it.
