A lightweight German rubber.
Since it's a speed tension rubber developed for the plastic ball, it grips and bounces more cautiously compared with speed tension rubbers that have been on the market for a while.
It bounces nicely and precisely even off a soft touch, but that can backfire on you in the short game near the table.This is a rubber I'd like to see used by middle schoolers who are a bit of an individual player and want to use a rubber that other people aren't using.

Being a speed-oriented rubber, it suits a hitting/flicking style, and you get a lot of speed even with a somewhat slow swing.
The drive is speed-oriented, so pushing through with spin feels a bit difficult. On the plus side, though, it's not very affected by the opponent's spin, so blocks, counters, flicks, and meet-hits are all really easy to control.
If I had to name a weakness, it'd be the spin-based short game...
Pushes tend to pop up, and stops tend to run a bit long. Flicks are really good though, so it might be great if you're mainly using it for flicking!
I'd recommend this to people who want speed over spin, or who often use flicks and counter-blocks!
One more thing - if you put a tacky rubber on the other side, it makes the strengths of this one even easier to see.
You can really mess with your opponent by changing the ball quality between forehand and backhand!

I discovered something new: this rubber lasts a long time. I've been using it for five months and the performance hasn't changed much. If you deliberately reduce the grip on the ball, you can play more like you're using short pips, ignoring spin.

Using 1.8mm on my backhand.
It reminded me of the old feeling of coating a Sriver EL with a bouncy glue.
Review by technique:
Backhand drive - the arc is low, but it's still very stable.
It doesn't have that wild, hard-to-tame feeling you got from old-school speed rubbers (lol).
"Just swing and it goes in" - I really felt that with this one.
Smash - the ball flies off with a satisfying metallic sound.
I've always been bad at smashing with soft rubbers, but once the ball sinks in you can really aim it? It reminds me of Vega Europe.
Block/push - this might be this rubber's specialty?
It's just really easy to use overall. I normally use short pips on my backhand, but I felt like this rubber isn't very sensitive to the opponent's spin, so I could hit with the same feeling, and I think going inverted on both sides could work with this rubber.
Serve - it's easier to aim for placement than to load up on spin.
Getting the feel for a short, cutting serve is tricky, but I guess that just comes with practice.
Receive - this also works like short pips.
I really felt how easy a rubber that's not very sensitive to the opponent's spin is to use.
Push - unless I was really conscious of it, the ball popped up right away for me (lol).
But if you focus on cutting through the ball, you can hit a fast, low push.I've praised it a lot, but I think its durability is among the worst out there.

First off, it's soft!
It's fast and still lets you control the ball.
I'd love for beginners or people who like softer rubbers
to give it a try.
The backspin you can generate is insane...

First of all, I think this rubber has excellent balance. And within that balance, I think speed really stands out. It's easy to control too, and you still get spin. I currently have it on my forehand, and my forehand drives go in reliably. The control is also great, so I felt really strong in topspin rallies. That said, it felt a little soft to me, so
I wonder if it might actually suit the backhand better.
I think it's very easy to use even for beginners. If you've been using the 400 and want to raise your overall level across the board, try the 450; if you want to boost your speed a lot, go for the 525; and if you want more control, go down to the 350 - matching the version to your own game should make it even easier to use. I'm planning to try the 450 next. If you want to try the Plaxon series, start with the 400 and see how it feels for yourself!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
