I use it on my backhand. It's got decent speed, and considering the price the spin is more than acceptable too.
The biggest appeal of this rubber is that, while its absolute numbers aren't the highest, it's a bit lighter than other tension rubbers. If you want to keep the weight down, this rubber is a good choice.

I used the Plaxon 400 the other day. The rubber itself is very light, so it's good for people who put max thickness on their forehand or who care about weight.
Also, even though it's positioned as a speed-type, it still puts on plenty of spin. I'm the type who plays more from mid-distance in rallies rather than close-to-the-table hitting, so this rubber, which keeps my backhand drives stable when I'm further back, really suits me. It's forgiving of the opponent's spin, and it's reasonably fast too. Because the ball releases quickly, receives are easy to do. But the amount of spin it produces is low. The ball feels light.

First off, the rubber is light! It's not very sensitive to incoming spin, so backhand drives come out low, fast, and stable. It feels more like you're punching through with speed than pushing with spin. If you're not sure what to put on your backhand, this is a safe choice. If it feels too soft, go up to the 450.

I used it on my backhand and felt it has really stable spin. Besides that, it's easy to control and fast. Even though it's fast, it felt very stable. Because it's soft, I felt techniques like the chiquita were harder to pull off.

I used the 1.8mm on my backhand.
It's not that it doesn't spin at all, but I don't feel like it's easy to put spin on. Letting the ball sink in and snapping it gave good shots.
Compared to the 350, it has more power but feels harder to handle. It still pops up on the short game, same as before.
I didn't feel anything special about the 400 compared to it.
