    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This rubber is consistently praised for its excellent control performance as a beginner-oriented racket cover, while low speed and spin performance are noted as common drawbacks. It is positioned as a rubber to be replaced after mastering the basics.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional control performance ideal for beginners
    • Low speed and spin performance
    • Affordable with high durability
    • Advantageous for learning techniques other than drives
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveVery affordable with excellent control and high durability even among beginner rubbers. Perfect for beginners.
▽ CriticalBoth spin and speed are very poor, making it nearly the most toy-like rubber among official rubbers. You should switch it as soon as you reach intermediate level.

Cod roe (Experience: More than 20 years) Control alone is excellent

      Reviews by user

Bought this on Mercari. It was pretty badly worn out so I can't say anything too accurate, but if you're fine with that, go ahead and read on.

No spin, no speed, and even when I drive it barely picks up any speed. Honestly I don't think it's that different from a plain rubber. But the control is really good, so I'd recommend it to beginners. The ball goes exactly where you aim it, so control is the one thing this rubber nails. Just control...

Up Down Service (Experience: 6〜10 years) The definitive beginner rubber

      Reviews by user

If I had to sum up this rubber in three points, it would be:
      1. It's cheap, plain and simple
      2. The control is outstanding
      3. Among beginner rubbers, it's especially durable
That's it. Seriously perfect for beginners.

It doesn't produce much speed, but the control is outstanding, making it a perfect rubber for beginners.

Nexus Master (Experience: 6〜10 years) More than enough for a chopper

      Reviews by user

Everyone seems to only focus on the topspin drive, but the chop on this is amazing.

De-beginner (Experience: 4〜5 years) For beginners

      Reviews by user

It doesn't put on much spin and isn't very fast, but
my impression is that the control is good and it's easy to drive with.
I can recommend this to anyone just starting out in table tennis.

Once you've built up some basics, though, you should switch to a different rubber.

Old Retora Taro (Experience: 2〜3 years) A rubber just for beginners

      Reviews by user

Other than driving, there's really nothing good about it. That much I can say for certain. Both the spin and the speed are seriously lacking — it's not an exaggeration to say it's the closest thing to a toy rubber among official rubbers. Once you become an intermediate player, you should graduate from this rubber right away!
