What an easy rubber to use. And you can expect a decent amount of speed and spin too. Truly an all-around rubber. Amazing. Also, I'd recommend it for intermediate players.

Spin bites well when you hit the ball, so you can swing with confidence. Even off a serve, you can turn it into an attacking chance away from the table. These days short-game technique has developed a lot, and if you leave a ball too soft it'll get punished. So why not give this Vega Asia DF a try?

It's easy to put spin on, reasonably priced, and easy to control, so I'd recommend it for beginners!

I wanted more spin than the Asia or Europe versions gave me, so I picked the Asia DF, and I was surprised — it was easier to use than the Europe version and had more speed than the Asia version, I felt.
However, when my swing speed got too fast I started overshooting a lot (might just be my lack of practice/skill though). That said, blocks and pushes were really easy to do.

I'm a close-to-mid-distance drive player in 8th grade, ranked in the round of 32 at the city tournament. I'm pairing it with an inner-carbon type blade, and the ball sinks in easily. So grazing drives are still doable, but the spin amount is lower compared to something like Rakza. Still, since it's soft even for a spin-oriented rubber, it's easy to hit with. It suits people who wanted more spin than Vega Europe gives, or who want something a bit softer and easier to handle than Vega Asia. It doesn't suit people with a fast swing speed or those who hit with very strong impact.

Chopping is easy and the cuts bite well and go in easily
(probably bites more than Curl P3, I'd say).
Serves have good control, and short serves bite more than with the Xiang Long, with good spin.

Used the max thickness version on a Matsushita Pro Model.
The backhand side has thin Morristo LP.It handles attacking techniques flawlessly. In particular, when you sink the ball in on a topspin drive it forms a beautiful arc, and there's a reassuring feeling that any ball will go in. Drives from mid-distance are stable too.
What surprised me were curve drives and reverse-side chiquitas. It curves so much you'd wonder how it's even possible.
When you smash, the ball flies off with a sharp metallic sound. Just hitting flat isn't stable, so it was better to put a bit of topspin on it.Chopping works without major issues, but unless you hit it with strong impact the spin doesn't take hold, and since sinking the ball in makes it fly, a slightly wrong angle sends it flying too far.
So I tried grazing it instead of sinking it in, but then it doesn't fly at all.
In the end, I felt that chopping with stable, strong spin takes practice and getting used to.One thing that really gave me trouble was short, heavy backspin to my forehand short game.
If the impact is weak it doesn't bite, but hit it too hard and it flies off, so it was hard to return aggressively.
If I'm in position to chiquita it, I can really rip spin onto it though...Even so, I think the value for money is extremely high. Good for intermediate players who can generate their own impact and spin to some degree.
