I used it on my forehand since it's made for the plastic ball. For topspin drives, letting the ball sink into the sponge worked better than grazing it — both speed and spin were better that way. I think it grips the ball better than the regular Asia version. Even on the backhand, it's easy to counter and block with, and it makes a nice "ping" sound.

Used on the reverse side of a Chinese penhold.
Three out of the four people in my family use this.
The remaining one is a beginner, so they use Mark V.
Not too hard, not too soft — good control, good speed, and a good feel too.
I can't really find any notable downsides.
I also tried the lightweight Kiryu on the backhand, but this one feels like it holds the bounce down more than the Kiryu does.

I originally had the thick version on my forehand, but it was hard to handle, so I switched it to my backhand, and lobs, counters, and blocks all became really easy to do. For me, sinking the ball in gave more spin than grazing it. Pushes float up a little, but you can cover for that with blocks and counters. It takes time to get used to, but I think it's a rubber that's well worth using.

Back Bunbunmaru (Experience: ２〜３ years) A stable rubber suited for backhand

Used on the backhand — this rubber's sponge is soft and sinks in easily, so it's easy to put spin on consistently.
Thanks to the DF sheet, it's also fairly firm for how soft the rubber is, so the absolute amount of spin is high (for a softer rubber, that is).
However (and this might largely be a matter of my own skill), the easy sinking-in worked against me, and I found it hard to hit drives that rely on grazing with just the sheet.
For someone who doesn't focus too much on grazing the ball, this is truly an all-around rubber with outstanding stability.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I really liked this rubber.
Compared to the plain version, it puts on spin better.
With light hits it goes in consistently, giving you a great sense of security.
I'd especially recommend it for the backhand.
It's soft, so serving takes some getting used to.The downside is that flat, flicking strokes sink the ball in too much and are hard to control.
Control is beyond complaint.
It's a high-performance rubber that even a beginner could handle with a solid coach, whether it's your first tension rubber or not.

I've used Vega Asia once before and thought it had quite good spin, but it didn't have the same stability as the Europe version. I think by lowering the hardness, this one keeps the same spin while improving both speed and stability.

Soft rubbers that are easy to put spin on usually don't give you all that much spin volume, but this Asia DF is different. It's easy to spin and gives you a lot of spin too.
The sheet and sponge feel like they've melted together into one unified, mochi-like texture, and the whole rubber grips the ball tightly.
That grip creates powerful spin, making it a rubber that even intermediate players can use on the forehand.
The weak point is actually that same great grip. It sinks the ball in on its own even against loop drives or sharply cut pushes and chops, so it's hard to just block it with a simple touch.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
