Ituyu (Experience: Less than a year) Stability and spin amount

This was the first rubber I used when I started with long pips, and I still use it today.
It's aimed at beginners and focused on stability, but it puts a surprising amount of spin on the ball!
That said, if you want to prioritize speed and attack aggressively with punches, the P3a or P1 would probably be better. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Middle pen guy (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to use on both offense and defense

I use a Chinese-style penhold and have this on the black side. It gives good control, so blocking is easy too. (Maybe because there's no sponge, I'm not sure) It doesn't bounce much, so attacking is limited. That said, it's quite strong against lobbers. I think it's a good rubber to recommend to people who feel attacking isn't their style, or to junior high schoolers.

Table tennis (Experience: 6〜10 years) For choppers who want variation

My impression of long pips has always been that pushes don't really bite, but chops get nasty spin on them, and depending on how you use it, long pips can really mess with your opponent. I've tried the Feint Long series and the Curl P3α, and out of those, this Curl P-3 is the one I found easiest to handle. I use extra-thin on the backhand with an Inner Shield blade, but as I mentioned, pips just aren't suited to handling pushes. So I push with inverted rubber, then chop away from the table afterward, drawing out mistakes that lead into smashes. I'd recommend this to people who want to try long pips but are worried about spin, or to long-pips beginners. Especially if you're a chopper who's never used pips before, please give it a try.

My blade is Butterfly's discontinued Gergely 21, with a thin sheet on the backhand. You can push with it, lift backspin balls to attack, and return strong spin like topspin drives by adding your own strong spin for variation. Basically, you can do both offense and defense with it.

I started with the Curl P3, tried all sorts of things, and ended up coming back to the Curl P3.
It's easy to handle and gets me through to the 3rd-5th round in tournaments, so it's hard to quit. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I used this back in my school days.
I've also used things like Feint Long, but the Curl P3 lets you do all kinds of things the most easily.
I'm using Glass D-Tecs now, but my experience with the Curl P3 still carries over.I'd recommend long-pips beginners start with this rubber.

As a long-pips rubber, the control, spin, and speed are good. I'd especially recommend it for beginners. I like this P-3, but I feel like plastic balls kill its characteristics.
