    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
This high-performance rubber is highly evaluated by powerful players. While it excels at combining speed and spin, it requires significant technique and power to master, positioning it as an option for intermediate to advanced players rather than beginners.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent speed performance makes powerful shots easier
    • Generates abundant spin with proper striking technique
    • Players with strength can hit extremely difficult balls to return
    • Recommended for intermediate and advanced players
    • Bounces too much for touch shots near the net
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAchieves both fast speed and high trajectory, realizing excellent spin and speed compatibility. When used by powerful players, it delivers exceptional power, with stable blocking and counter-attacks making it a superior rubber.
▽ CriticalDifficult to control, unsuitable for beginners. Touch shots like pushing and stopping bounce too much causing errors, while the rubber's short lifespan and high price are significant drawbacks.

Naka (Experience: 2〜3 years) Bounces nicely

      Reviews by user

It bounces a lot. But the topspin drive from mid-distance had good speed, which was nice. Because it bounces so much, blocks, pushes, and stops tend to pop up. Chiquita and similar shots are good with it. The feel was a bit soft. It's easy to put spin on, but I think the ceiling on spin is low.

Very easy to put spin on. That said, on the backhand the bounce felt half-baked and it was hard to use. It's a good-performing rubber, and on the forehand it becomes your strongest weapon.

      Using ULTRAMAX on my forehand.
Topspin drive: easy once you get used to it, spin and speed are both plenty.
Block: very easy, the ball comes off fast.
Counter: you can go with either a hitting feel or a brushing feel.
Serve: once you get used to it, it's easy to put heavy spin on it or throw in a no-spin ball.
      Smash: very easy.
      Push: easy.
Flick: works both with a hitting feel and a brushing feel.
      Stop (short push): very easy.
Receive: not very affected by incoming spin, so it's easy to use.
*Unlike Tenergy, it doesn't grab spin automatically.

I've got Ultramax on my Yoo Seung-min G-max.
It does the job as a spin rubber, but on top of that the power is amazing, and it gets decent distance too.

I'm using this on the forehand of my Wa no Kiwami Ao.
The topspin drive goes in relatively easily.
Serves have good spin too, and stops are easy to return short.

The topspin drive is really strong. Spin, power, and control are all super high. I've got it on my forehand and it's super easy to attack with.

Out of the whole Rasanter R series, this is the easiest one to drive with.
The stats are well balanced, so every technique is easy to pull off.
