I used the Ultra Max thickness
on my backhand, so this review
is based on backhand use.I'd recommend it for the backhand for
high schoolers or adults with a lot of power.It gets a huge amount of spin.
Topspin drives, chiquitas, and flicking strokes
are all easy to do, and I really like it.Loop drives on the backhand are also
really easy to pull off.Blocking is a bit difficult
until you get used to it.
I think that's because I'm using the Ultra Max thickness.It seems a lot of people use it on their forehand too, so

An andro blade paired with an andro rubber is a fantastic combination.
Topspin drives especially curve in a really satisfying way.
A friend I practice with a lot even told me the sharpness and placement of my drives had improved noticeably.

With most German rubbers other than Tenergy, when you let the ball sink into the sponge, it bounces off before you can fully get spin on it, which made it hard to keep the trajectory stable.
The Rasanter might be a difficult rubber unless you have a feel for hitting with the ball sinking into the sponge.
When I let the ball sink in on serves too, it feels like I get more control and spin than with 05.
When practicing third-ball attacks with a pro coach and putting spin on with a Tenergy-like feel, I got an unbelievable number of service aces. I could already get top-class spin with Tenergy, but the Rasanter seems to be a bit higher.
If you have trouble getting the ball to sink in, I think switching to a blade with an outer ZLC layer, a hard top ply, or more thickness would change your impression.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Reference rubber I'm comparing to
- Tenergy 05 (referred to as "05" below)
(scoring everything out of 13 points)
Compared to 05, the biggest thing is that this one is easier to get spin on.
In terms of absolute spin amount, 05 is probably higher, but I think this one wins on single-shot speed and ease of use.
In terms of hardness, it feels softer than 05.Blades it pairs well with
- A slightly harder 7-ply wood blade
- Softer special materials like ALC
Basically it seems to work with pretty much any blade!!Who this suits
- People currently using Rasant Grip
No need to hesitate about switching. You'll be surprised how stable it feels.
- People using German spin-oriented rubbers like Evolution
- People using Fastarc G-1
*Note: a lot of people currently using 05 might not end up switching to this.
This has been the best rubber for me so far! If you're curious, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. The price is a bit on the high side, but I think it's worth trying.

I'm a 2nd-year middle school boy.
I used the 2.0mm version on my forehand.
It has a lot of bounce, but pushes are seriously stable. I was surprised.
It's easy to get spin on and produces good speed too.
It didn't feel as hard as I expected - it was a bit on the softer side and easy to use.
The weight isn't heavy.

Serves get a lot of spin, and chiquitas go in really easily too. Even from an awkward position, solid shots still land.
It might not be related, but ever since I switched to this rubber, my YG serves have been going in a lot more. Curve drives get a ton of spin too, and shoot drives break a lot. Even from far back, it has enough distance to reach.

This is an amazing rubber.
It's cheaper than Tenergy but easier to get spin on than Tenergy!
With the Ultra Max thickness the speed is also decent, so you can meet the ball too!
