    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as an excellent tension rubber for beginners to intermediate players, with high tolerance and performance exceeding its price point being commonly praised. However, the fast deterioration of the soft sponge is noted across multiple reviews, making durability management a key concern.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • High tolerance makes the ball easy to land despite off-center hits
    • Outstanding balance of spin, speed, and control for the price
    • Soft sponge is user-friendly for beginners
    • Sponge durability is short, lasting only 3-6 months
    • Serves as a bridge to higher-end rubbers like Tenacity
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe performance at this price point is amazing. The soft sponge provides exceptional grip and the high tolerance means the ball stays in the court no matter how hard you swing—an unmatched sense of security compared to other tension rubbers.
▽ CriticalThe soft sponge deteriorates quickly, and you won't get that 'even worn-out Tenacity is still strong' feeling. The rubber becomes difficult to spin after about 3 months of use.

Calligraphy (Experience: 2〜3 years) The best performance with this cheapness

      Reviews by user

I was in my second year of junior high and didn't have much money, so Tenergy was way out of reach for me — the shop staff recommended this rubber and I bought it.
After using it a bit, my impression was, "isn't this basically Tenergy?!"
I've only hit with Tenergy a bit by borrowing someone else's, but this felt very close to it and was really easy to use.
It even goes up to 2.1 thickness — it's basically Tenergy. People who use Tenergy regularly might not feel the same way, but I find it really easy to use.
First, it grips a ton of spin even without meaning to. I tried to counter my opponent's smash and the ball caught the net, but even after rolling off the table it kept spinning forward like crazy as it rolled away.
It's also easy to counter with, which close-to-the-table players will love.
What surprised me most is that even though it bounces this much, it still has amazing control. It's really something.
For this price, getting Tenergy-like performance — to me this is the best rubber out there. If you want to try Tenergy but don't have the money, I highly recommend this.

Take it easy (Experience: 2〜3 years) A well-balanced rubber

      Reviews by user

A really well-balanced, great rubber. Hardness-wise, it feels maybe a bit softer than Butterfly's 35 degree. But it's a hardness that works on both sides, so I'm using it on both sides.

Kamito (Experience: 6〜10 years) Easy to use It is full of weather

      Reviews by user

I have it on my backhand, and backhand drives are easy to hit. I also think it'd hold up well in topspin rallies if used on the forehand. Also, spin comes on easily.

    • Doko cut man

Doko cut man (Experience: 6〜10 years) Although it is a soft rubber, a heavy ball will come out thanks to the spring sponge.

      Reviews by user

It's harder than I expected, so even people who like hard rubbers might be okay with it.

      Pros
      - Backhand topspin drive is super consistent and also has great power
      - Almost all techniques away from the table are stable.
      Cons
      - It bounces even on light hits, so it might be hard for beginners to handle.

      Kokutama (Experience: 2〜3 years) drive

      Reviews by user

I've got it on my backhand. The topspin drive is the best part — it grips the ball well and lets you hit a fast drive. Try this once before putting on Tenergy. If you're not satisfied, you can always switch to Tenergy.

    • Eh

Eh (Experience: 6〜10 years) Rubber which does not resemble tenazi

      Reviews by user

Using max thickness on both sides. Before this I used Yasaka Rakza X at max thickness on both sides.

During warm-up, doing light forehand, backhand, and pushes gives that Tenergy-like feeling where the spin kicks in automatically. But if you try a topspin drive with a brushing stroke using the sheet, it doesn't grip at all and just drops into the net with no spin.
However, if you extend that light stroke into more of a meaty hit, the spin grabs solidly and turns into a powerful, elongated drive.

In my first practice session I couldn't shake this odd feeling. With Tenergy, even a brushing stroke on the top sheet bites hard across the whole rubber, but with Rozena I felt like I couldn't use the strokes and feel I'd built up unless I really sank the ball in and brushed hard. For tough receives and rally returns, if you just hit flat, the sheet and sponge grip the ball and it comes back with quite a bit of spin, so I sort of understood what "tolerance" means. If you touch it thin, it slides, and stops (short pushes) hold nicely too.
I think this matches well with junior high/high school players, women, and players switching over from spin-oriented short pips. Once you understand its characteristics, combined with the softer sponge, you should be able to handle it.

Since the sheet is slippery, people switching from other rubbers will need effort to understand its characteristics, so if you don't want to deal with that, I'd recommend just buying Tenergy.

The balance is good, and it feels like you can do anything with it. The control performance is really good, so I think it'll suit anyone.
