Yukiga (Experience: 11〜20 years) A well-balanced, great blade

      Player reviews

Honestly, if you're used to special material blades, I think this one really doesn't bounce much.
But that's exactly what makes it good.
You don't have to worry about overshooting. You can swing without holding back. It also flexes quite a bit and the blade is a size bigger.
If you put on heavier rubber, you can really drive heavy shots.

(Mi) cash on delivery (Experience: 6〜10 years) The old design seemed better…

      Player reviews

I got to try the old-design Liu Shiwen blade and liked the feel, so I went to buy one, but only the new design was in stock (understandably). I figured the only difference would be the design, so I gave it a try — but with the new one, the shock that comes back into your hand on impact is much stronger, and honestly the feel ended up being one I don't really like... Maybe I'm just imagining things...
I liked the old design better looking-wise too... lol
That said, spin is easy to put on, and I found loop drives especially easy to hit.
Personally, I felt the grip on the ball was too strong. Because of that, gripping the racket firmly can hurt a little. I'm hoping it'll smooth out with more use.

    • You Arakaki

You Arakaki (Experience: 6〜10 years) Wish it had more bounce

      Player reviews

Since this blade made a comeback this time, I put on the latest Rozena and test-hit it, but I felt like the lack of tension-rubber-level bounce is a real drawback. That said, I felt the feel it has is genuinely different from anything else, and it's something I'd want every special material user to experience at least once.

      Ten-year love (Experience: 11〜20 years)

      Player reviews

It's easy to play a spin-heavy game close to the table and at mid-distance. It's light and easy to swing, so topspin drives come naturally, and serves with heavy backspin are easy to produce too. Paired with Spinart rubber, blocks and lobs become really stable. Definitely worth trying.

Ru (Experience: 4〜5 years) Flies farther than expected

      Player reviews

Flat hitting isn't anything special, but when you put spin on it, it flies further than expected.
That said, compatibility varies by player, and I don't really feel like this is a blade you need to specifically stick with....

      Love poor (Experience: 6〜10 years)

      Player reviews

Topspin drives go in stably, but it's lacking a bit in speed. Well, it's not too slow either. As for how easy it is to add spin, it's Butterfly's No. 1

      ( '· ∀ · `) Aramaa (Experience: 6〜10 years) Same performance as before

      Player reviews

This is before release, but I got to try it out.
It doesn't feel any different from the previous Liu Shiwen blade. That's reassuring — the stability and ease of use are still there.
