I've been really into STIGA rubbers lately.
This rubber grips the ball well and produces heavy shots. You can switch between a speed-oriented topspin drive and a spin-focused one, which helps you win points.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This was newly released and cheap, so I decided to try it.
Since it's inexpensive I didn't expect much, but I was surprised once I actually hit with it.
Both speed and spin were more than satisfactory, performance-wise it was right up there with premium rubbers and the post-Tenergy generation.My first impression was the sound of the ball hitting it — a loud "crack-crack" just like in the glue era.
It feels great to hit with, and it really lifts your mood.Used on the backhand it flew too much and was hard to control, but on the forehand it was soft enough to give a nice gripping feel, which was good.
Attacking off the backhand was difficult, but the chiquita and flick on receive were good.
The trajectory is fairly flat. It's affected a bit by incoming spin, but it's within a manageable range.Performance like this at this price is pretty much unheard of these days.
