It is soft, but only compared to the Catel (Regular).
By feel, it seems to be around 43-45 degrees, similar to other companies' rubbers like Fastarc C1 or Ventus Speed.
It's a rubber that works well enough for men on the forehand.Since the ball sinks in and gets launched, it feels easier to generate speed with than the Catel Regular.
The surface has a slight tack, same as the Regular.
It's a sheet that grips really well for the short game and for serves.
It felt like a rubber that took the grip of the Vega Japan surface and boosted it with a bit of tackiness. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's easy to put spin on, and it's reasonably priced, so I think it's good as a first rubber. That said, it feels like its performance drops off pretty quickly.

I think this is a good step-up rubber. It combines speed and spin well, so it's easy to hit powerful shots. I think it's good for players who already have the basics down.

The feel isn't too soft — with a sponge hardness of around 42-45 degrees, when you sink the ball in for a topspin drive, the sound and power are really good. The short game is easy to handle too, and the ball doesn't float much. It's slightly tacky, so it's really easy to put spin on the ball. I think the performance for the price is quite high. One thing that bugs me a little is that the topsheet scuffs pretty easily.
