Hurricane 3, with increased tackiness, is suitable for loop drive.
Hurricane 3 has been the best choice for almost all the Chinese players since the 2000 Olympic Games.
Hurricane 3 is designed for players who mainly adopt a controlled playing style or have relatively weak attack. The rubber can add strength and produce a long arc, which increases the ball control and exerts fast attack and loop drive close-to-table.
Hurricane 3 enhances the spin of 40+ Celluloid-Free T.T. balls.

Taku Spin and speed

This is one of the Hurricane series.
I also own the other one, so let me compare them.
As for spin, of course, being a strong tacky rubber, it grips like crazy.
Way more than something like Tackiness Chop.
On top of that, it still has decent speed, and you can pull off speed drives and loop drives with ease.
The downside is how hard it is to control smashes.
The ball tends to fly off in weird directions. I guess you have to make up for that with technique.
It's also a shame that you can only buy it at online shops.

I was shocked the first time I served with this lol. Unless you really rip the spin on your serve, it won't even go in lol. At first my serves were all knuckle balls with no spin, but I finally managed to pull off a nasty sidespin serve. Some people want to use this in their first year of playing, but I can't really recommend that. Hit the gym a lot! By the way, thanks to this rubber I've started beating people I could never beat before!!

I felt the DHS Hurricane 2 lacked bounce, so I switched to the DHS Hurricane 3. It has good speed and high spin too. Perfect for the backhand.

I tried hitting a few YG serves with it, and it puts really heavy spin on the ball. When I bounced the ball on it too, it still doesn't bounce much since it's a tacky rubber.
The sound on contact is a heavy "thunk!" It works for players of many different playing styles too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

It's like a rubber that combines the spin of a tacky rubber with the speed of a tension rubber. The bounce is moderate.

It's been a while since I came across a Chinese rubber that really feels like a classic, orthodox Chinese rubber.
Compared to the PF-4 I used before, this one is noticeably faster. The sponge is hard, and fresh out of the wrapper it's very tacky, which doesn't feel great, but after hitting with it for about an hour and breaking it in, even though the feel on contact stays hard, when you really sink the ball into the sponge you get a drive with a bounce and dip on landing that tension rubbers don't have, and it looks really tough to handle. It's fantastic for anyone who likes to push forward aggressively with their forehand.
If this basic, entry-level version already does this much, the Hurricane blue-sponge version must give a truly outstanding shot. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

It muscles through every technique with sheer spin lol. The cut of its chops is probably top-level among all rubbers. The downside is that the ball tends to fall short and the chop ends up shallow, but it's still a high-performance rubber! I'd recommend it to attacking players too, especially the type who push through with spin!
