Tools Stray (Experience: 11〜20 years) An inner blade with real fly

      Player reviews

It's pretty heavy - mine weighed 93 grams. But since the balance point is toward the handle and the grip is fairly thick, you don't really feel the weight. It has a special material built into the inner layers, but even on soft hits you can clearly feel the carbon coming through. Either way, it flies. The feel and the way the ball comes off the blade are close to wood, but the distance is all carbon. Recommended for anyone using an outer carbon blade who wants something softer.

LL (Experience: 6〜10 years) A well-balanced, powerful driver

      Player reviews

It's a well-balanced blade - the output feels straight and direct, and you can really feel it holding the ball well. When you put together a strong loop, both power and spin get stronger. I use a 41° National H3 on my forehand. The blade is stiff enough to "hold" a hard rubber, and it gives the ball a powerful kick when you drive a loop. The blade also suits the backhand well. Personally, I think it pairs well with hard rubbers, giving more sense of speed and letting you hold the ball firmly.

I love Nittoku (Experience: 2〜3 years) Amazing spin!!

      Player reviews

Topspin drives, serves, receives - everything was easy and it was amazing. I was surprised by how much spin it generates. It's especially easy to loop with, so I'd recommend it to anyone who struggles with topspin drives or has trouble putting spin on the ball. Hope this helps!

Penmate (Experience: 6〜10 years) Drive power is amazing

      Player reviews

Using it as a custom Japanese-style square penhold blade.
I was originally using the KA Speed square blade, and the spin on my topspin drives clearly improved.
Compared to an outer blade, the feel is quite soft with a hollow "poko-poko" sound.
I put an Apollo 5 on the forehand, and it pairs well with tacky rubber too - no hardness to it at all, and it's fantastic for putting spin on drives.
On top of that, the feel has a nice sense of thickness, so blocks don't get pushed around, and it's flawless in rallies.
The only downside is that, maybe because of the good ball-holding and that soft "poko-poko" feel, smashes aren't great - floating backspin balls in particular are hard to smash.
I'd recommend this to intermediate-and-up loop players.

Nara (Experience: 6〜10 years) Inner leaning toward outer feel

      Player reviews

Among inner carbon blades, this one feels less like wood than most. It doesn't really have that grippy feel, but it bounces more than a typical inner carbon.
The ball control on topspin drives wasn't great either, so I kept overshooting until I got used to it. Once you get used to it, you can hit some pretty fast, powerful shots.
It's especially good for a hitting-style swing among inner carbons, and since it's easy to control over the table, it also suits players who use a lot of flicks.
Overall, I'd say this is a good fit for anyone who wants to actively use a hitting-style swing, even among inner carbon blades.

Devil's Thai (Experience: More than 20 years) Suited for close-to-table play

      Player reviews

Whether it's the speed of your drives
      or the spin,
      it's a really high-performance blade
I'd recommend tacky rubber on the forehand
and a rubber that balances speed and spin on the backhand
