This has horizontal pips.
My first impression is that it bounces quite a bit. It doesn't have the dipping trajectory you get from a typical short-pips rubber — it feels more like using inverted rubber.
Smashes, meet-hits, and chops all made a good impression, but in the short game, like pushes, the rebound is strong so it felt hard to control the touch.
I think it suits forehand pips players, players who use short pips with inverted on the other side, and close-to-the-table attacking players. Not suited for choppers.
I think you could switch from inverted to this without much of an adjustment period. It's a tension rubber similar to Mizuno's Booster.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
