V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Even with a slow swing, the ball sinks into the sponge nicely.
On an all-wood blade it sank in really nicely too.

Counters just go in, no matter what. This is the type of rubber where everything seems to land — blocks and everything else go in too.

15 Stiff lowers the sponge hardness of Extra and redesigns the topsheet.
Rozena was developed the same way.
It's easier to get an arcing trajectory than with Extra, but you can get overpowered on counters. Still, unless your opponent is really strong, it's fine. As for the other techniques:Topspin drive: spin is average, speed is more than enough.
Block: easier than with Extra.
Smash: has enough speed that a smash from an early contact point can be too much for the opponent to react to.Push: it's springy so some people might find it tricky, but it's not a problem.
Stop (short push): same thing — I felt it was harder than the push.
Serve: spin is average, so scoring off serves alone seems difficult.
Chiquita: rather than a fast chiquita like with Extra, one with more of a brushing motion and spin works better.

I originally had V15 Extra on my backhand, but
maybe it just didn't match my blade — it flew too much and wasn't as consistent as Stiff. So I borrowed a friend's, and it's really consistent: instead of going flat and straight, the ball arcs and drops into the table, so it's very stable. It's also less bouncy than Extra, which makes it easier to use. It's soft, so the ball sinks into the sponge easily and it's easy to add spin. Really good rubber. Backhand drives from mid-distance are high quality too, and playing against backspin is easy. The chiquita, though, has more of a high arcing trajectory compared to Extra, so it lands fine, but I don't feel like it has much speed.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

My impression after hitting with it: it's softer than V15 Extra, so the consistency is amazing! The sponge hardness is also mid-range within the 15 series, so it's easy to handle. The difference from Extra is that Extra's trajectory goes flat and straight, while Stiff has a higher arc! Because the arc is higher it lands a bit shorter than Extra, but that higher arc also makes your topspin drives more stable. Playing against backspin doesn't feel much different. But Extra releases the ball quickly, so it demands solid fundamentals, whereas Stiff is a bit softer and holds the ball properly before sending it off, which I like.
That said, personally I'd say Stiff wins on spin and handling, while Extra wins on power and speed. If you're looking for a rubber that performs close to Extra, go with V15 Stiff; if you want something softer than Stiff, I'd recommend V15 Limber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Unlike Extra, this one grips the ball firmly and gets it in even from an awkward body position. It takes some getting used to, but it's not as tricky as Extra, so you adjust quickly. It's easy to get a nice arc, though being a V>15 series rubber it doesn't go too high. The short game is easy to play too. Serves bite well. Countering is easy. And when you counter-drive against an opponent's drive, it doesn't slip. A really good rubber.
Some people say if V>15 Extra is too hard to handle, switch to this one, but personally I think it's better to try 07 Stiff first before moving here.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

First off, the feel of the ball is really good. When you hit it, there's a slight sinking-in sensation and it puts spin on the ball too. The easiest technique to pull off is the counter. If you close the angle to match your opponent's spin and hit slightly upward, it goes in most of the time. The ball comes off quickly, so sometimes the drive doesn't lift as much as you'd like, but since it has speed, that's not much of a problem.
This rubber works well on both outer and inner blades. It's on the heavier side, but you'll be fine once you get used to it. If you're looking for a rubber with a bit more pace on the ball, it might be worth trying.
If you pair it with a tacky rubber on the other side, middle and high schoolers might not have the strength to swing it properly.
