V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. I'd recommend this for intermediate to advanced players. This rubber has very few weaknesses. The only issues are that the short game is a bit tricky and blocking is a bit hard. If you can manage those, it's the best rubber out there. By the way, its lifespan seems to be on the short side.

I couldn't believe a rubber like this existed.
It reminds me of Bryce back when I used Chuck's...
it's the ideal rubber where the ball sinks into the sheet and then just flies off.
The spin in particular is just ridiculous.
Even a light touch makes the topspin drive whoosh off the racket,
so it's fun even just in topspin rallies.That said, maybe it was just my own lack of skill, but in an actual match
I kept overshooting and couldn't do finer, more controlled shots.

I used the 2.0mm on the backhand of a Quartet VFC. When I test-hit it in a shop, I really liked how manageable it was, and later bought it along with the blade. It's really easy to lift underspin with. You can hit deep, aggressive underspin returns on a low trajectory. You can get quality topspin drives across a wide range, from an early contact point all the way to mid-distance. It ended up making my backhand topspin rallies really stable. Also, because the ball comes off the rubber quickly, it's harder for your opponent's spin to affect you, which keeps blocking and countering stable too. I felt that a sinking-in stroke suits it better than a pure brushing stroke. Having listed all these strengths, I did find that the stop tends to pop up a little. Other than that though, it felt great overall and helped me sharpen my backhand feel. Lastly, since I changed the whole blade this time, I went with 2.0mm to manage the weight, but next time I think I'll try going thicker.

On the forehand, short-game techniques like push and stop are easy to do.
The topspin drive gets solid spin too.
Same on the backhand, chiquita and the like also get good spin.
Serves are easy to vary between long and short too.
I was using Extra before, so this felt a bit lacking in bounce, but
it's easier to control than Extra.

Just like the title says, it performs like a V>15 Extra with the tricky parts removed.
It handles everything competently, so I'd recommend it for forehand up to intermediate level, or backhand for advanced players.
Brushing techniques like chiquita are easy to do.
It seems to grip more than the feel of your brush would suggest.

Used it max thickness on both sides. Comparing it to the well-known and popular G1.
Topspin drive
It's fast. I expected a high arcing trajectory but it's actually pretty flat. That's probably the biggest difference from G1. Whether you brush it, grip it, or just hit through it, none of those strokes feel like they'll miss. That part is similar to G1. My impression is that Stiff is more of a "drive through" rubber, while G1 is more of a "smash through the block with a heavy ball" rubber.Block / Counter
Countering stands out more than blocking with this one. It feels like you can really grab the ball and send it back. For blocking, G1 has more natural pop off the sheet so Stiff falls a bit short there. G1 also has the edge for hitting counters too.Serve and other short game
It doesn't feel like it grips the ball much? But it actually spins just fine lol. G1's sheet is harder so it probably grips more. For stop and chiquita too, a harder sheet helps, so G1 has a slight edge there as well.So far it looks like G1 wins out, but Stiff has the advantage of making it easy to generate power. In matches your impact inevitably gets weaker sometimes, and with Stiff you don't have to worry about the ball dropping short even on a weaker hit. That's the deciding factor for me, which is why I use Stiff. Definitely recommend it for rally-style topspin players who like to keep cranking out spin. It felt a little like an 80-degree sponge.

Lit (Experience: ６〜１０ years) For those who want to stand out

I used this on an Innerforce Layer ZLC.
My serves didn't feel like they had much bite, but the spin was plenty. It works fine on the forehand too. That said, compared to a normal tension rubber like G1, it felt like it has a bit of a quirky character. It lifts underspin and chops just fine, but what really stood out was how easy it is to block and counter with. The listed hardness was on the firm side, but it actually felt pretty soft. If you've got the power you can drive plenty far even from away from the table, but I felt it really suits a topspin-oriented style playing close to mid-distance. If you use your opponent's power against them, you can counter with real speed, so maybe give it a try as a second tension rubber?
Not many people use it these days, so I'd recommend it if you want an edge over opponents in tournaments, or if you want to rack up points by working the block and counter game.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
