V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. The enormous tackiness of the High Energy Tension rubber additionally enables dangerous, variant-rich serves and magnificent control in over-the-table play.

I borrowed a friend's to try it out — it combines speed and spin well. The topsheet is a bit on the harder side so I was a little worried, but the ball went exactly where I expected, which was great.

There's no technique this doesn't handle well. It's for people who want consistency. The hardness isn't high, but it's definitely not an easy rubber to use. It's hard to put away a winning shot with it — just like VICTAS describes, it's a very rally-oriented rubber.

It feels like it takes everything good about V15 and adds a higher arc and better spin performance on top. You get speed while still getting a high arc. You can keep hitting consecutive shots with stability. Even from mid-distance or away from the table, you can use that arc for topspin rallies and the like.

Used two sheets in the 157×150 size, one at 49g and one at 46g, both max thickness. Being in the 45-degree hardness range, I had the impression it would be easy to use, and sure enough, carrying the V15 name, the performance is very high.
The 49g one produces a strong arcing trajectory, with the sheet's strength really standing out — it reminded me of Rakza X. It felt like a rubber built specifically for attacking.
The 46g one has a really nice balance between flat hits and drives, though it didn't produce as much spin on loops and similar shots. On defensive techniques like pushes and blocks, the rubber also didn't feel overly reactive.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Used on the backhand.
Blocks, pushes, and stops all held well and felt easy to use. Backhand drives also got a nice arc and felt stable, which made them easy too. I don't think there's anything this rubber can't do. Speed felt a bit lacking at first, but it never got to the point of feeling "not enough." I'd like people who feel V15 Extra just isn't working for them to try this. I only used it on the backhand, but I think it'd work fine on the forehand too.

Surprisingly, it gets good spin, and it has solid speed too — I think even intermediate players would be satisfied with it. You can attack with it, but defense, especially blocking, was easier. It was a pretty good rubber, so I want to keep using it going forward.

Topspin drive
Loop drives might be tough for players without much impact power, but since I have a decent amount, it was easy for me. I found speed drives especially easy to hit.Push
