V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. The enormous tackiness of the High Energy Tension rubber additionally enables dangerous, variant-rich serves and magnificent control in over-the-table play.

I tried a friend's Stiff, liked it, and bought my own. My first impression from hitting with it is that the ball goes in easily. Even if your balance is a little off, it still lets the ball land, so you can hit with confidence. Extra has more power, but I'd recommend this one instead. It wears out a bit faster than a normal rubber, but even once it's worn down it still lets the ball go in. I think this is better than Extra for intermediate players. Definitely give it a try.

This is what a normal tension rubber feels like, I'd say.
V-15 Extra was rock hard and just flew off the racket, so I had high expectations, but if you think about ease of use, Tenergy or Fastarc are better.
Spin and stability are, like the previous V-15s, a bit underwhelming, but speed, countering, blocking and so on were pretty easy to do.
Considering the overall balance, I couldn't rate it that highly.I have a feeling that most intermediate VICTAS fans will end up using this rubber going forward, though.

Used on the forehand.
My drives from mid-distance became more stable than before, and my speed went up too.
The ball also carries well, and I felt like it puts a good amount of spin on.
There's no technique that feels hard to pull off overall, so I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to play with speed while staying stable.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Middle-aged men wanting modern table tennis (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Feels kind of like Tenergy 05?

Putting it on my forehand and hitting with it, it felt softer and easier to handle than I expected. It had a bit of that 'everything just goes in' feeling that's typical of Tenergy, and that's when I realized this is a good rubber. It's easy to attack with on your own initiative and also easy to counter with. I think serves are easy to control too.
On the backhand, drives against backspin are really easy, but drives against topspin flew on too high a trajectory and I overshot a fair bit. (That's on my own lack of skill, sorry lol.) Chiquita was extremely stable.
I'd recommend this to people who don't have enough power to make full use of V-15 Extra, or who haven't found the rubber that suits them yet.

I meant to buy a replacement V>15 Extra but accidentally bought the Stiff version. VICTAS's packaging is so confusing, lol.
Here are my comparison thoughts. My blade is a Quartet AFC. As expected, it's softer than Extra.Serve spin: Extra > Stiff
Max spin: Extra > Stiff
Stability: Extra < Stiff
Ball-holding feel: Extra < Stiff, though personally I feel Stiff holds the ball too long and it feels a bit off.Stiff is a good rubber too, but once you're hitting with a certain amount of power, the combination with the AFC gives a mushy feeling on contact.
Maybe a harder blade would suit it better. As for me, I'm going back to Extra next time.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Trying it out, the ball seems to fly off before the spin really grabs. I have it on my forehand, and it doesn't put on that much spin, but true to its concept, topspin rallies are genuinely easy with it. When I step back to mid-distance, it feels like everything goes in. Serves cut normally, but I found the short game a bit awkward with it. Recommended for players who like to win through rallying.
