    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
A unique sticky rubber with weak bounce that demands thin scraping techniques. Highly rated for cutmen and backhand use, but poorly received by tensioned rubber users and aggressive players, with evaluations varying greatly by playing style and skill level.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Produces high spin when thinly scraped, excels at serves and pushes
    • Hard sponge provides excellent stability in close-to-net play and blocking
    • Weak bounce and heavy weight unsuitable for drive-oriented speed players
    • Specialized for cutmen and backhand with distinctive quirky ball characteristics
    • Generally inferior to same-price competitors like Kyohyo
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSurprisingly compatible on the backhand side, making backhand drives easy to lift and blocking very manageable. With proper thin scraping technique, you can overwhelm opponents with spin.
▽ CriticalDoesn't bounce, lacks speed, and fails to grip despite being sticky. Lacks clear characteristics, making same-price alternatives like Kyohyo or Rakza Z more versatile choices.

Kintetsu Goindo (Experience: 4〜5 years) Hard to rate

      Reviews by user

I thought this was the successor to Spinart, but it's a completely different rubber. No bounce, no speed, and the spin is just okay.
I can't figure out what its selling point is.
Beginners wouldn't normally start out with tacky rubber, so is that actually the target audience?
It has less spin than Hurricane, less speed than the recent Sieger PK50, and it's heavier than Yasaka's Xiang Long.
If I had to name a good point, I'd say the short game.
Pushes, stops, and chiquitas were decent, but flick-away shots were underwhelming.

      Tabashi (Experience: 4〜5 years) So-so

      I bought this used.
It wasn't great quality, but I was still able to hit decent shots with it.

Falling NP (Experience: 6〜10 years) The flip side of a fair point

      Reviews by user

This rubber is crazy in a way lol
Hard, heavy, no spin. It's got all three of the "bad" traits covered.
But as a chopper, this is great.
With hard chops and knuckle chops, sometimes I try to put spin on it and it comes out pure knuckle. Other times I go for a knuckle chop and it drops straight down instead…
If you score it fairly, you'd get the ratings above, but there's a level of weirdness to it that scores alone can't capture.
By the way, on the backhand it's a killer paired with short pips.
In a best-of-3 match, you can even hang on against higher-ranked players. It really catches opponents off guard the first time lol

Supreme (Experience: 6〜10 years) Boosting is a must

      Reviews by user

Honestly, this rubber is all about applying booster.
Used normally, it doesn't fly as much as Hurricane.
Even with an outer carbon blade, it struggles once you're not close to the table.
It might suit a hard-chopping chopper.
In the short game it settles well, so there's no worry about the ball dropping.
Brushing it gives a bit of spin. Hitting flat produces a knuckleball-like shot.
It could be interesting to turn that around and try a thin or extra-thin version.
That said, it's already been discontinued.

Nari Shinonome (Experience: 4〜5 years) Still no proper tacky rubber…

      Reviews by user

I thought "Butterfly finally made a tacky rubber!?" and bought it right away at my local sports shop.
But it turned out to be only slightly tacky, and it's not even a high-tension rubber like Dignics 09C.
At this price, I'd recommend Hurricane instead, which is in the same price range. That said, if you've used things like Tackifire D or Tackiness C-II, I think you'll find this one easy to use.

Onikiri Magician (Experience: 6〜10 years) I'll cut it down

      Reviews by user

I'm not really sure what the reason would be to deliberately pick this rubber. The bounce and spin are both kind of mediocre.
It's not a genuine Chinese rubber, not a tacky-tension rubber, and it's not even that tacky.
At the same price point, you'd be better off going with Hurricane or Rakza Z.
That said, the short game was easy to play — no worries about the ball dropping.
It's a shame, especially since Spinart was so good.

Chabby (Experience: 6〜10 years) The reincarnation of Tackifire C

      Reviews by user

A rock-hard tacky rubber. It reminds me of Tackifire C, which I used to love.
For people who like this kind of thing, the hardness and lack of bounce are just irresistible. It's a rubber that shows a completely different character depending on the blade you pair it with.
