I bought this looking for a soft rubber for the backhand.
Even at max thickness, the bounce doesn't send the ball flying too much. It suits special (composite) blades. With a low-bounce 5-ply wood blade, I think the bounce might feel a little lacking.

Maximum spin: excellent (for how hard it is)Overall there's no technique that feels hard to do - chiquita and backhand drives lift easily without the ball dropping. Even in the short game, the ball doesn't float in a weird way; you can really feel the outstanding grip and strength of the sheet whether you're stopping the spin dead or brushing it with a flick.
On the flip side, the performance is almost too good, and there's a sensitive side to it - if you don't actively cut into the ball yourself on a receive, just meeting it flat means you take the full effect of the opponent's spin straight through the sheet.
When blocking, though, the sponge seems to cushion that - it feels like the sponge wraps around and absorbs the spin, then reapplies your own spin onto the ball.
If anything, I'd say this is a rubber that skilled players looking for an all-round rubber would buy. If you can master it, there's no doubt it's a top-tier rubber.
It's a masterpiece rubber with excellent overall performance.

I don't feel like it's all that soft. I use it on the backhand, and once you get the hang of the thicker sponge, it gives you a reassuring feel. Depending on the blade, you can also hit some powerful balls with it.

Using max thickness on my backhand.
It's soft, and even though it holds the ball well, the speed doesn't drop on meet shots — I like that. The sound is satisfying too.
I've tried a bunch of rubbers, but so far this is the only one that manages to combine softness and speed.That said, it's admittedly a bit tricky to handle, and my impression is it's not really a beginner-friendly rubber.
Pushes tend to float a little; just blocking it without touch will make it drop short.

Backspin lifted easily and flat hitting was easy too. Serves had good spin and the short game was easy to handle. It felt like a truly all-around rubber.
