Black, 2.0, used on forehand.
○Forehand: comparison with Ventus Extra 2.0
The drive grips the ball well and there's a good amount of spin
For rallies from mid or far distance, I feel the speed/extension is lacking

Suited for advanced players, or players who play close to the table with a good serve.
I hit balls with the smooth protective film attached, and the bounce was on par with other rubbers.
The slow speed might come from this rubber's surface characteristic of being slightly tacky.
This is just my guess, but they might be using a harder sponge to minimize the tacky characteristic as much as possible,
but when the ball speed is slow, like on a serve, the ball doesn't sink in much, so you probably can't expect a high amount of spin.
Best used purely for counters and counter-spin shots that use the opponent's ball speed.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Forehand, max thickness
I bought it for my backhand, but I couldn't handle it at all, so I moved it to my forehand.
Despite being hard, it holds the ball better than I expected, and being slightly tacky it also has plenty of spin and stays on the table. It goes deeper than the G1.
Rasant C48 was a medium thickness so I can't compare them directly, but the Jekyll & Hyde gives the impression of producing plenty of power even at mid-distance.
Even loops hit really high still land in without going long.Even on the forehand it was hard and difficult to hit, and I was pretty much ready to give up on it, but maybe I got used to it, because now it's grown on me quite a bit.
It lasts a long time too, so the value for money is quite good - I'd recommend it.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Still carries through even from mid-distance.

The ball dwell time is long in a bad way, and response feels slow.

Used the thick version on my backhand.
Since it's been over a decade since I last used a tacky-type rubber, I thought I'd struggle to get used to it after tension rubber, but I was able to handle it without much discomfort. The response on flat hits is also good.
The amount of spin on drives doesn't quite live up to what you'd expect from a tacky rubber, and pushes don't bite as sharply either.
Hurricane seems to have quite a few different series, but this particular rubber might just not be the type with especially strong tacky characteristics.
Also, the sweet spot for flat hits is narrow, and if your contact point is even slightly off, the ball won't fly. I used it for four months and never managed to get the hang of it.
It's also heavy and slow to reset for the next shot, so there's not much reason to specifically choose this rubber for your backhand.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Using max thickness on my backhand.
It's soft, and even though it holds the ball well, the speed doesn't drop on meet shots — I like that. The sound is satisfying too.
I've tried a bunch of rubbers, but so far this is the only one that manages to combine softness and speed.That said, it's admittedly a bit tricky to handle, and my impression is it's not really a beginner-friendly rubber.
Pushes tend to float a little; just blocking it without touch will make it drop short.
