      This felt completely different from anything I've used before, like a whole new sensation.
      People seem to think of it as an upgraded V15, but honestly it's not the same thing.
      As for spin, V20 felt "just slightly" ahead, but in every other category this one comes out on top.
      It performs better with a "hit into it" stroke than a "brush" stroke.
      I play with a Chinese penhold grip, so my forehand naturally ends up being more of a hitting stroke because of how I hold the blade, which suited this rubber perfectly.
      I've been playing table tennis for almost 30 years now, and I've finally found the forehand rubber I was looking for.

      Comparing this with V15 Extra. *Both are 2.0mm sponge ☆

      Topspin drive → Faster than V15, but the consistency of spin (sometimes it grips, sometimes it doesn't) felt better on V15 Extra ☆


      Serve → Not much different from V15 Extra, but you can also put good spin on your serves (easier to do the higher-toss style serves?)


      Receive (and rallies) → Meet-type shots like flicks and smashes felt harder to do, and pushes didn't get as much spin as I expected, so my opponents made fewer mistakes off them ☆


      Block → Felt harder to use, though that might just be my own skill level ☆

      Chop → Felt easier than V15 Extra, better in stability, spin, and control across the board ☆

      My thoughts on switching from V>15 to V>22.

      It feels softer than V>15.
      The sponge might actually be harder, but between the topsheet and the overall feel it comes across as softer, and playing with it, the feel is close enough that you get used to it quickly, so it felt like an upgrade.
      These comments are based on using it on the forehand, so the backhand feel might be different.

      Comparison with V>15
      Topspin drive: the ball sinks in more than V>15
      Meet shot: about the same feel
      Smash: V>15 felt better here. With V>22 the topsheet grips and the ball can fly off in unexpected directions more than expected... probably just needs getting used to hitting it straight
      Push: control was easier, maybe because it's softer.

      I've also used V>11, and somehow this had a similar taste to it (soft topsheet, hard sponge).
      It feels a bit different from V>15 — if anything, it's closer to a more powerful version of V>11.
