It doesn't have that "auto" feel like Rozena or Tenergy, so if you don't have the skill to grip the ball yourself, the harder sponge might give you a floaty ball!
Forehand and backhand drives arc nicely and come down properly.
The thing I personally think stands out about the Glayzer 09C is how easy it is to grip the ball with. For players like me who use a gripping style — counters, chiquita, backspin drives — I think this rubber fits perfectly!! On an all-round blade like the Harimoto ALC or an inner ALC, the bounce is just right, so you can swing with confidence!! I used to think hard rubbers meant a hard topsheet too, but the Glayzer 09C — hard sponge, soft topsheet — was exactly what I was looking for, exactly my kind of rubber! Once the tackiness wears off, hitting the way you're used to won't land, but as long as the tackiness is there, it's the strongest.

Better than I expected.
The sponge is hard but the topsheet is soft, so it holds the ball more than I thought.
The short game is easy thanks to the tackiness, and when you hit hard the sponge gives it a lot of bounce.
Even people who find Dignics 09C too hard to use should be able to handle this one.That said, it doesn't have the "auto" feel that Tenergy has.
I bought it for my forehand, but it was easy to use on the backhand too.

Red and black, both sides, thick.
I haven't used Dignics 09C so I can't compare it to that, but compared to the Tackiness Drive, it's better in every way.
It's not too heavy (I do wear a knee support on my dominant side as a precaution against muscle soreness).If I had to nitpick, a bit more speed would be nice, but then that's basically saying "just use Dignics 09C" I guess.
I wish Tenergy would come out with a tacky version.

I switched to a carbon blade, so I went with the Glayzer 09C at the same time. I use it on my forehand — it keeps the speed and control of the regular Glayzer while adding spin thanks to the slight tackiness. Serves bite well too, and third-ball attacks are really easy to pull off. For this price, the performance is great value for money. Recommended if you're thinking about switching to a tacky rubber!

Since this is a tacky tension rubber, it really embodies the best of both tacky and tension rubbers.
Backspin balls are easy to lift, and it has the specs to hold its own even against strong spin-on-spin techniques like countering.
That said, for a tacky rubber it doesn't produce insane amounts of spin — it felt more like a "manual" rubber where the more effort you put into your swing, the more spin and speed you get out of it.
I think it suits any blade, and it's a rubber that anyone, any age or gender, can use, so please give it a try!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I liked tacky rubbers, but was told they're difficult for beginners, so I put slightly-tacky Glayzer 09C on as my second rubber. Well, Glayzer 09C isn't really beginner-friendly either... The listed hardness of this rubber is 52, which is quite hard, but it feels more like about 47.5 in practice. Both speed and spin are quite good, and it's an easy rubber to handle. It's also easy to use for chopping, so it's a really high-performance rubber. The value for money is good too, so please give it a try. Middle schoolers in particular often want to buy something like Dignics 09C but can't afford it, so I think people in that situation should give this a try.
