Compared to Jewel Large, it bounces well even with light force, and you can hit a ball with good extension even from mid to far distance - it's top-class bounce among spin-type long pips. On the flip side, receives, pushes, and stops tend to float, so it takes some getting used to. True to Nittaku's style, it's on the soft side and bounces with a light touch, but with your own hard hits or blocks, the ball can crush and cause net misses depending on the player.
If you prefer something harder in the same family, Victas's L3 is recommended for hard hitters - it's also better value for money.
For close-to-the-table play or choppers, Jewel Large is recommended instead since it's softer, doesn't bounce as much, and is easier to chop with.
This is perfect if you're an attacking player looking for a spin-type rubber that lets you hit hard shots even when playing further back.
