Even just a light touch gets you quite a lot of speed.
Since the sponge is soft, it's easy to sink the ball into it, which makes flicks over the table easier too.
If anything, it's more of a backhand rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control

If you're expecting something similar to the other Vega rubbers, the softness will hit you as a shock.
The ball sinks deep into the sponge and bounces back nicely, so the control is good and the feel on contact is good too.
That said, the short game is tricky because being so soft, even a light touch makes the ball pop up.Overall Speed Spin Control

I like the tacky sheet feel of the Mark V, but it just doesn't have enough speed - this is a rubber for people who moved on to tension rubbers.
It bounces pretty well and has good control too, so it's also good as a step-up rubber for beginners.Overall Speed Spin Control

It's hard, but the sponge isn't too hard, so it's just right for the forehand.
The sheet also grips the ball decently, so if you brush it thin you can even push short enough to bounce twice on the table.

The topsheet has a lot of grip, and since the sponge is soft, it's easy to hit both grazing topspin drives and drives where you really sink the ball in.
You can also get a decent amount of speed, so you can punch through with your drive too.
