I used this as a chop-oriented player.
Pushes don't pop up easily and chops are stable. When I go on the attack, I get good speed too.
I thought the value for money was really good for such good performance.
The black sponge looks cool too.

Ever since it appeared in the spring 2020 catalog, I'd been curious and looking forward to it.
Before release, both the inner and outer ZX-Gear versions, which were said to be the model's specs, already made a great impression on me.
I'd been reading other people's reviews before I got to try it myself, but after actually hitting with it, my honest impression is "better than expected."
I thought since it's hard, the ball would fly off before you could get spin on it, but it really grips the ball and holds it before it flies out.
And of course, just like its reputation, it has plenty of bounce, so it doesn't lose out on power.
That said, the average weight is around 90g, so it gives the impression of being for power hitters. Among Tamasu's (Butterfly's) products, I'd say it's closest to the one Jun Mizutani uses.
It's really a great blade.

I'm using this on my backhand.
The buzz beforehand was that at 47.5 degrees hardness it's similar to the V>15 Extra but lighter.
When I actually put it on, it really was light.
I figured being lighter would mean lower performance, but in a good way, it completely defied my expectations.
The sheet has good tension and isn't too soft, so it produces speed. It grabs spin well too, and I got the impression it's more stable than the V>15.
On hard hits it might fall a little short of the V>15 Extra in power, but it was easy to handle. Personally, I thought it felt a bit harder than the V>15 Extra.
Since it's light, I'd especially recommend it to elementary schoolers and women players.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Up until now, I'd only used arylate carbon blades with the carbon on the outer layer.
I bought this one aiming to tone down the bounce a bit and focus more on spin and control, and to build up more feel for the ball.
Since the carbon is inner, spin and control were easier than expected, just as I thought they'd be. Power is a bit lower compared to outer carbon, but the feel is softer, and it was really refreshing to hit with. It makes the game more fun.
Also, since the blade itself is on the softer side, it opens up the option of pairing it with a harder rubber.
It offers great value for money compared to other blades in its class - a truly excellent blade.
I think it works well for anyone from advanced players to elementary schoolers, women's players, or as a step-up blade for moving from all-wood to special-material blades.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

It keeps the ease of use of the previous Spectrum while also making it easier to get speed and spin.
I normally use a shakehand blade, but I put this rubber on a Chinese-style penhold, and even I could tell it's a genuinely good rubber.
