Front-end haste (Experience: 4〜5 years) A speed-focused player model blade!

2023/01/02
This is my first review of 2023!
My first review blade of the year is the one used by Pitchford. Speaking of Pitchford, what stands out is his piercing, high-speed shots. As the blade behind a player like that, it's built as a hard, speed-focused blade. If you put tacky rubber like Hurricane on the forehand, the spin stays the same but the speed goes up dramatically. That said, control feels like it has a bit of a downside. Also, the overall feel is quite hard, so I'd recommend countering that by putting a softer rubber on the backhand, for example.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard
Recommended rubber (Forehand) HURRICANE PRO Ⅲ TURBO BLUE
Recommended rubber (Backhand) SONIC AR

Typing fierce (Experience: 2〜3 years) The Outer

First off, after hitting with it, it doesn't feel much different from the ZX-Gear. Unless you have a strong preference, I'd recommend the ZX-Gear Outer instead.

power (Experience: 6〜10 years)

I switched over from the ZX-Gear Out, which gets called a "plastic model" blade. Compared to the ZX-Gear Out, the power has increased, and I felt flicks and counters became far easier to do.
The feel is hard, so it takes some getting used to hitting with the ball sinking into the rubber.

Manyu (Experience: 11〜20 years) Beyond expectations!!

Ever since it appeared in the spring 2020 catalog, I'd been curious and looking forward to it.
Before release, both the inner and outer ZX-Gear versions, which were said to be the model's specs, already made a great impression on me.
I'd been reading other people's reviews before I got to try it myself, but after actually hitting with it, my honest impression is "better than expected."
I thought since it's hard, the ball would fly off before you could get spin on it, but it really grips the ball and holds it before it flies out.
And of course, just like its reputation, it has plenty of bounce, so it doesn't lose out on power.
That said, the average weight is around 90g, so it gives the impression of being for power hitters. Among Tamasu's (Butterfly's) products, I'd say it's closest to the one Jun Mizutani uses.
It's really a great blade.
Definitely give it a try.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

moaitroll1234 (Experience: 11〜20 years) Can do everything from delicate play to dynamic topspin drives
-

Being a Z-carbon blade, it felt like it could handle both devastating topspin drives and delicate play.
Compared to the ZX-Gear Out, the core is thicker, so it's easy to generate power. I felt like a style that hits the ball hard rather than one that focuses on spin
suits this blade better. I think rubbers that need a bit of muscle, like 15 Extra or Hurricane, suit it well.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
Recommended rubber (Forehand) HURRICANE 3
Recommended rubber (Backhand) Dignics 09C

minc (Experience: 11〜20 years) Bounces well

Because it uses a hard carbon layer, it really flew well.
The sound is more of a dull thud than a sharp crack, but the power was outstanding.
It flies straight, so it might be strictly for advanced players, but once you can really handle it, you should be at national level.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard
